Great tips ! A few others are: 1. If you drink smoothies or have puree soup, make sure to chew to ensure proper digestive enzymes are created. 2. Prepare and visualize your food. Ever notice that you salivate just thinking about food ? It's the start of digestion even before you eat ! 3. Avoid processed food products that contain "gums" (eg. Xanthum gum), artificial sweeteners (eg. Sucralose), and artificial flavors. They wreak havoc on the gut lining.
He radhi.. Loved this part.. I would like to tell that 2 yrs back I had very bad digestion. Constipation in specific. I didn't even do regular yoga that eventually caused irregular periods. That was the time I made some serious changes in routine. Anyone who's suffering can incorporate these in daily life. 1) 2 glasses (500-750ml) of hot water in the morning should be first thing. 2) After emptying your stomach, 15mins of yoga that consists breathing and stretching (kapalbhati, butterfly and some stretching, suryanamaskaar if possible) 3) Including amla juice, aloe vera juice or apple cider vinegar in your daily routine and have it after little exercise/yoga. 4) I take 1 glass of buttermilk with 1 teaspoon of powdered flaxseed in it after the above mentioned juice. 5) take your 1st meal of the day after 45 mins. 6) drink enough water throughout the day but not immediately after meal. Wait for 30mins at least then have it. 7) have your last meal of the day as early as possible.. If not then try taking it till 9pm. This worked for me..

Question. You say at 1 minute that it’s not good to eat fruit with anything else bc it ferments in your stomach bc of how long other foods take to digest but then at 2 minutes you say not to eat fruits by themselves. Am I misunderstanding this? Thank you for any answer you can give - I love your videos and appreciate the support!
You’re everything! 🍊My food fairy, my gut guru! I literally hear your voice when I’m eating, drinking, or digesting what I’ve eaten! You’re so helpful and this information is essential. These are things that should totally be taught in school!
Yes true! Very confused ! Please make another video in just how to eat fruits right! Many of your receipies contain fruit, does that it doesn't follow ayurvedic recommendations?
I’m confused, at the beginning of the video you said according to Ayurveda, fruits should be eaten alone, but when you moved onto the topic of food combinations to avoid, the second one you stated was NOT to eat fruits alone, which one is correct?
Lol I just asked the same question and am confused. I know u should let eat fruit after your meal and may be eat a hour before but I got confused when she said don’t eat it alone! Hope she answers back soon!
This theory and knowledge is so aligned with a book called "Fit for Life". Highly recommend to anyone who would like to sustainably adopt a healthy energetic lifestyle
You describe things in such an easily understandable way. Your presentation is so fresh and upbeat it’s easy to relate & remember. I’ve heard many things before, but never understood the why. Thank you so much 🙏💖
you are so helpful... just in time. took antibiotics and it wrecked havoc on my digestive system. i had a feeling, now I know why. thank you so much for this. subscribed!

I particularly love the fact you talked about taking probiotics during and after taking antibiotics. Very important! A lot of people don't stress this enough
Hi, you forgot to mention Combucha. Very easy and cheap to make .. .. After having suffered for Years, finally settled my digestive problems - wait for it - with ACV, apple cider vinegar. Always thought my system was too acid but one day realised that in fact l didn't have enough acid to digest my food properly. Now l have lost my problems. I'm so happy !
O man too much info I need this written... lol... But such great infos Thank you so much from bringing them up here I think I need some books & articles on ayurveda :) about food & stuff
oh my god i was literally waiting for a part 2 in this ... thank you so much radhii for helping to build up such a beautiful and healthy community ,, lots of love and wishes
Loved the video but I’m unsure of how much I can avoid these combos! Fruit in porridge or or in yoghurt is such a nice combo! I love bananas in smoothies etc
I actually used to only fruits every morning and had to add grains (whole) to manage my energy levels, so it really does depend on the person. Diet is certainly not a one size fits all and one person’s best practises may be a detriment if applied to someone else’s diet and vice versa.

They include: adding a probiotic to help with excessive gas and bloating (that's just one piece of the puzzle), eliminating a food for 4 days and expecting it solve the issue (will take at least 2 weeks), and not thinking about root causes!
Radhi in the first couple of mins you mentioned that fruit should be eaten alone because it digests faster however then when you talked about the combinations we should avoid, in that you mentioned eating fruits by itself. I'm a little confused. Can you help me out here? Lots of lovee ❤
wonderful video. and, there is a lot of communication happening between the Gut and the Brain and the Gut health plays vital role in an individuals overall happiness and life. Stay Healthy, happy.
Great video! I'd like to learn more about ayuveda. I love all of your videos! They're very informative on health and natural living. I look forward to seeing more of you wellness videos :)
Sleeping on your left side keeps gastric contents in the antrum or belly of the stomach longer... Making it take longer for it to pass to the small intestine. Better to sleep on your right side to improve gastric evacuation!
Radhi I feel like I needed to see this 😂 was having a bit of gut issues yesterday 😂 what can I eat to avoid bloating? I’m skinny but I’ve got a bit of a tummy too
Radhi are you a degree holder in ayurveda ?? i mean to say have you done bachelors or masters in ayurveda ??? Have you read this veda deeply or you just making vedios with lack of knowledge .....its my humble request to you ..people love u radhi ...we believe in you....its ur duty to share right information to us or dont make such vedios..🙏
That was awesome, this test is extremely expensive. But if I understand correctly the diet and the probiotics that we will receive after taking it are included in the price?
Haha I'm german and had a short moment of language confused when I read "gut" (good in german) and health. My brain had a little error figuring out in which language to read and think now 😂 looking forward to the video 👏🥳
Hey Radhi, thank you for such an interesting video on Gut health, had a question, since due to lockdown many schools and colleges have online classes which start very early, any tips here...since they eat during their online class...thank you ❤

Funny that you mentioned antibiotics because I had to take them last week and it messed my gut up so much again. Also have been on antibiotics last year for quite a while and I noticed a tremendous difference in my mental Health after … both then and now I‘m taking probiotics and try to eat as much fruit and stuff as possible.. hope it‘ll work and not affect my mental health again!!
Thank you for this!! I had so many of these bad food combos when living at home. I definitely feel the difference when I don't mix these foods together! How interesting :)
Hey Radhi! Quick question- you said it’s a bad idea to consume raw veggies with cooked food. But eating a salad along with lunch is a habit many people consider healthy. Do you think that’s a bad habit?
Hi radhi thanks a lot for the video! I have a question! In many of your other videos, you have used fruit with saviory and sweet dishes, fruit on vegan cheese cake, mango salsa with pita bread and tofu. Does that mean eating all these recipes will cause bloating / stomach issues ? Please comment 🙏
When you said not to mix banana with milk, isnt it wrong? Coz even ayurvda states the concept of "Panchamrutham" consisting of 5 powerful foods, ie Banana, cow milk, Honey, curd, and ghee. It is said it is very healthy to the human body. This is made for every festival in india, especially south india and is offered to everyone after an Aarthi (the lighting prayer ritual). Any comments please?
Thanks for the great information advise!! Just one thing, u said try not to eat fruit after food but later said don’t eat fruit on its own…? When is the best time to eat food or with? Thanks 👍🏽😊
1. All meals should have a minimum gap of 4 hours. 2. Fruits can be eaten as snacks. Around 4 or 5pm. 3. No raw vegetables should be consumed for dinner. 4. According to Ayureveda, it’s recommended to begin day with fermented food such as idly, dosa etc
Thank you for this video. I'd like to know more about food combinations not recommended by Ayurveda. Maybe this could be the subject of one of your videos someday. 😊 Love from Mauritius 🌈

She answers this in the video. She says it’s bc fruits take less time to digest so when you combine fruits with “oats” for example it causes the fruits to sit in your stomach for longer causing them to ferment = bloating/gas. This is bc the oats take longer to digest.
@@theresakinter9675thanks for replying theresa! But actually she says we shouldn't eat them alone at one point as well, that's what I was referring to in my question.
Its a gread video, but i have one question :), what does mean avoid eating fruit by itself ? I need to know the answer please (At 2.00 Minute) Many Thanks for the answer and i love your content
