Giving Tyrus the reins on this show while Gutfield is out was a genius move. I don't know much about Tyrus' history other than his time on FOX, but he has consistently brought up great points from a different point of view and done it in an intellectual and funny way.

It's intellectual laziness no different than when all the knowledge was in a library as physical books. It still takes work to find the right sources of information. And those are going to be difficult to read and digest. And then they need to be reflected on critically. But that's also why most people didn't bother to go to the library in the old days. The world of knowledge on people's phones is just another source of entertainment. Or worse, they only use the phone to lookup information that reinforces cognitive bias due to their intellectual laziness. It's a manifestation of the Dunning-Kruger effect, because they think they're well read and intellectual as they consume 160 character long reductionist tweets and talking points on their favorite news outlet.

The reality is that all of the kids who were taught to believe that they were/are the MOST IMPORTANT person in the room and that their thoughts and opinions ALWAYS mattered, whether or not they had facts to back them up, have now raised their children, AND the cycle continues on, and on, and on....... I raised my children in the 90s, and they were taught that it is ok if you lose AND to congratulate the winning team! AND - they received a spanking (the HORROR!) when they deserved one!

I always told my kids and now my grandkids that they're not special. Not everything is about them. They're no better or any worse or more important than anybody else. Everybody is equal in value. Keeps egos in check. Also, when my kids were in park & rec sports and the coaches didn't want to keep score, I did. I would tell them if they won or lost. And I refused to let the coach give them a "participation" trophy, which was just taking off in the 90s.

Polyamory is certainly not something I would choose. Firstly, merely being in a open relationship is a reminder that you are not enough for whoever it is you're trying to love. You will never please them enough to be satisfied with just you. Secondly, you are inheriting all the problems and stresses of everyone else who is in that open relationship. In a relationship, you share the problems and responsibilities of your SO, so just imagine having to do the same thing with 20 other people.
