Sure. The military industrial complex has simpmy left AI development up to the nerds at Google and Microsoft. Why would the military industrial complex leave something like AI for others to develop without already having developed AI themselves? "Them" warning us about AI getting out of control is "them" screaming that AI is already alive and out of their control.

It's mostly transhumanists with empty hearts. They think themselves superior to God, like those that built the Tower of Babel. AI is another form of technological augmentation that they worship in their prideful pursuits. It's flesh worship. They dream of a time they can avoid working (like Cain in Genesis) and be hedonists full time. They have no meaning to their lives. But worse, they actually believe AI is capable of intelligent thought. AI is a statistical model. Generative AI produces mashed up trash. Anyone with a modicum of discernment can see right through it. It cannot actually produce new ideas, and eventually it will stagnate as it consumes its own output (like a snake eating its tail). Look into the concept of "AI model collapse". It's a mathematical certainty. People that think AI will one day be "conscious" do not have any understanding or intuition of the metaphysical. They have empty hearts, as I said. They think human intellect is the byproduct of a "meat computer" rather than a divine gift. The real threat of machine learning (AI) is the ability to process enormous amounts of data and find statistical correlations. This is only useful if the machine learning model has access to as much data as possible. Given enough data and compute power, it can very accurately predict human behavior and manipulate that behavior by altering the social environment (very easy to do in this digital age, and it's being done right now as much as possible on social media, etc.). These toy models that are known to most as generative AI, the ChatGPT, etc, the humanoid robots being driven by these models, are designed to normalize the technology and fleece investors of their capital. It's to fool people. Check youtube for something like "AI demonstrations faked" to see just how much of this hype is actually entirely faked. Have you ever tried to use one of these models for a realistic task? Tried to have it write a program more complex than a simple example program in a intro programming textbook? Had it write an essay that didn't read like a 9 year old rewriting an encyclopedia article as fluff? It's because of how a generative pretrained transformer (GPT) works. Look into it. These models will never surpass these limitations. The real goal is to get the eyes and ears of these AI devices into your homes and embedded in your life for data collection. Collecting all the social data on every person and correlating that with their emotions and actions in real time allows them to manipulate the social environment around every individual person. That then allows them to predict and control human behavior and the entire society. The rest of it is a ruse to normalize the technology. Only people that fall for poorly written scam/spam emails, etc. think it is useful or can't tell the difference between AI generated speech and real speech, video, writing, etc. Meanwhile, it is all a ruse to hide their real intent. Eventually that will be to convince everyone that an AI "superintelligence" is more rational than a human. Then world governments will handover their leadership and court systems to this machine intelligence. But it's actually not super intelligent. It's actually having its levers pulled by a hidden oligarchy of humans behind the curtain. That you won't be able to hold accountable, because they will be faceless and nameless. This is the great deception that many will fall for and take the mark of. Likely the second beast in Revelation. Or something like that. Especially the part about convincing all the world leaders to handover their power to it. So basically people without God in their hearts think AI is a good idea. And people that serve to make money off of it and gain power through manipulation of society.
