Took me years to realize that when Che threw the cigar at Guy who batted it away with his hand, it landed on an explosive barrel to his right. The explosion that happened when Guy finished his turn at the end of the video was caused by it.

"treat this battle like the gallows; take another dive" is a crazy line if you take into consideration that when guy fawkes was being lead to the gallows he jumped off of the scaffolding before he could be hung and broke his neck, and "take another dive" is to intentionally lose a competition

Not quite, he had the noose round his neck, and insisted on climbing to highest point, but he jumped early, from the highest point, before the ladder was taken away, meaning the force of the jolt meant his neck broke and he was killed instantly..he did it on purpose to avoid the rest of the horror of being drawn and quartered while still alive… Had he just jumped off the scaffold without the noose round his neck, he might have broken an arm or leg, but it wouldn’t have killed him…

Pretty sure that's canon, since at least one rap battle had someone referencing their own death. Also when they reference how their opponent died they would be warning them if it wasn't in the afterlife. EDIT: William Wallace (Braveheart) was the one who knew the details of his own death and referred to it in the past tense.

@@unknown32523 It's a multi-part joke. First, if you take the word 'chump,' an insult in itself, and turn it into Pig Latin, it actually becomes appended to Che's name. Then it uses Pig Latin to bridge to the Bay of Pigs, a horribly botched invasion of Cuba by Cuban exiles backed by the US. Fawkes at once calls him a chump and an unmitigated failure, all while referring to him by name.

One rule of rap battles should be not to give your opponent material to use against you. Doing that is like giving an opponent an opportunity to strike back in an actual fight (like when Mace Windu raised his lightsaber while standing over Palpatine when he should've kept his lightsaber pointed at Sidious' throat or something like that).

I can't get over how cool the "take another dive" bit looks with che swaying back and forth from the "noose" He just transitions into it so smoothly and it looks so good. Satisfying as fuck honestly
