After DNA testing exonerated him of charges related to the murder of Christine Jessop, Guy Paul Morin sits down for an exclusive interview with Fifth Estate Host Linden MacIntyre. Morin was ecstatic with the outcome but believed the system failed him and that this type of miscarriage of justice could happen to anyone. With archival footage from our 1992 documentary Odd Man Out, Morin reflects on his case and his future after 10 years behind bars.

The brother was too quick to accuse. Then, through divine intervention, had a highly intuitive dream of bones not yet discovered. He should have been looked at more closely.

Yeah, if you're not some carbon-copy suburbanite, you're automatically up to no good...a "weird guy". I can't believe a juror would base her decision on Guy's lack of eye contact rather than the (terribly manipulated) evidence. I was so happy for him when he was exonerated.

Robert Klimeck: I live across the street from a very small park. On the other side of the park are some bars. At closing time there are frequently screams and shouts from the park. People cut across it to get to their cars. I have never heard cries for help. I listen closely to the screams and shouts. I try to determine if it is just playing around by people who have been drinking or if it ls more serious. (Despite perimeter lights the park is not well lit and I am on a higher floor and cannot see through the trees anyway. If I have any doubts at all I call the police, just so they can check it out. If I actually heard someone calling for help, I'd call the police, then gather any of my neighbors who are more active, my pepper spray, abd stun gun and go check it out. VERY CAUTIOUSLY. If no one will accompany me, I am not stupid. But I would stand in front of my building shouting that I've called the police to try to frighten an attacker away. I do something.

@rmooreg

It's so infuriating when it comes to light that someone is charged, prosecuted and often convicted based on fabricated evidence and lies. The police officers who do this sort of thing should face charges, along with the DA.s and even the judges who participate while knowing full well the case is questionable and the evidence faulty. They should all have to face some consequences for their deliberate miscarriage of justice. They are the ones tasked with seeing justice done and seeking out the truth. It's disgraceful that they are so willing to subvert truth and forego justice for the sake of their own personal or ego driven motives.

Hey interviewer, how about letting the man be happy instead of trying to get him to speak bitterness! Yay for this man, Mr. Morin!!! i know this is old, but it feels good to view. Oh, and a person of innocence should NEVER "give up" and accept a false accusation. I have reached the end of this interview and I have to say, this seems to be the worse interview I have witnessed. Why does this interviewer insist on asking, or badgering, this man with the same questions over and over again. Please, journalist, just present the facts and let the MAN tell his story.

CT! I don't think the guy interviewing him was trying to get him to be bitter.. I think he was just trying to understand how he's not. Just from the ten years stolen from Guy I would be some sort of bitter. That's not including cost, that's not including a forever tarnished named ( DNA is proof but there are still people out there who will always believe he's guilty, especially those that never learned he was cleared) I think he does have bitterness he's just happier in the moment the interviewer asks.. You can see it in his face & hear it in his voice that he has "issues" with the way things happened. I wonder who he thinks is guilty.. he must have listened to the "facts" time & time again that he cought on to someone & something. #MyVoteTheBrother
