*I love inflatables!* I put them up every year. Of course, I live in the trees. So I have about a dozen trees decorated with lights around the area. So the inflatables aren't the only decorations that are put up. I always chuckle when I see a fellow inflatable person have them off in the daytime. Considering how weak the internal lighting is on inflatables, the daytime is when they look the best. I just leave mine on 24/7 while they're up. I even have external spot lights on them, to overcome the weak internal lighting at night. I love coming home to inflatables and lit trees. Before, when I didn't decorate, coming home in the dark on these short winter days was kinda depressing. Now, I look foreword to going home. As far as how long they stay up... I take mine down on the first Saturday after the NCAA football national championship game. By then, the sun is starting to stay up later, and I no longer need the decorations to avoid the dreariness of short winter days.

You know you're broke when you have Christmas inflatables in your yard

Had to laugh at leaving them up til Feb. 12. Here in Poland, it is not uncommon for people to leave their trees up well into January if not til Feb 2 which is a Catholic Feast that at least for some, ends the Christmas season officially. Works better if they are not a real tree - but artificial, naturally.

We have like 8 blow ups right now. We are known for always having so many of them out at Christmas.

Lol my sister in law is a fertility laboratory scientist and her husband is on the board of directors for a pretty big corporation. They are not poor by any means and have huge inflatables outside for the holidays. On Halloween they had a ten foot plague doctor and some other inflatable stuff out front. I’m guessing it’s gonna look like an inflatable winter wonderland in their yard by this weekend. upper middle class people love inflatables too, John 😂

True story: I went a bit overboard one year with a HUGE Santa in a hot air balloon. Our “not to be outdone” neighbor bought a six foot, realistic Santa from Costco and set it outside. A thief stole their $400 Santa, then cut my hot air ballon $350 Santa. ☹️. We probably deserved it.....
