Glad you got both so I can actually see the size comparison. Wish it was one of those fancy moving ones that double the actual physical size of the unit. Now I just have to decide whether I want the 80 or 120 version
I have been using the 120 more but it takes up a lot of room. Both still work great and the only problem is if I put the rode mic on the camera it does pick up a slight hum when moving. Thanks for watching.
What fun! Very cool. WOW! Can't wait to see you put this to use outside too. Looks like it's well-made. Soon you will have to build a new addition to your home to house all your filming, lighting and camera equipment! Gourds are gorgeous. Is that seed from Baker Creek?
These definitely should help add some camera movement to my videos and be good for final shots so I won't have to use pan and zoom photos. Not professional level but far exceed my hand held abilities and don't cost $2k. I just solved the problem of my equipment storage including many batteries and chargers laying all over the house with a new cabinet that made my wife happy. Working on a video for that now with the story of a botched home depot pick up caused by the 3 stooges working there. Buying a new camera next and that should be it for equipment for now. I have a habit of dropping cameras on rocks that shortens their lifespan though. Hoping for a Black Friday sale. I was lucky that GVM donated some equipment to my channel and they really just want feedback for developing better products. The gourds seem to be a mixture of the gourds I planted last year and yellow squash. They grew on their own and I didn't know they were there until I started looking for butternuts. Wonder what they will look like next year. Thanks for watching.
I have a 90d with the 18-135 now and that's getting close to the limit. The longer version fits my needs but does require 2 tripods. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for the review. 05:54: did I get you right? You have to set an account (with email adress and maybe other personal data) just to control a locally connected device? Really?
I had to set up an account with email and password then give it permission to location and storage for it to run. Was able to turn off the camera permission it also wanted. Same with their LED light app. The app does work reliably but the device must always be in bluetooth range to stay running. Doesn't seem to be internal memory to download and control the sliders on their own. I have had no problems with it so far. Thanks for watching.
@@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 Thank you for your quick reply. > I had to set up an account with email and password then give it permission to location So the manufacturer knows my email adress and can annoy me with his advertising stuff and he knows exactly where I live. Oh my, not good.
