dhuumfire is not bugged, it was intended to have this duration as said by CMC here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TsRZKpWgE_A.html and yes the tooltip is wrong, but it would be even more overpowered if it were right
The other day I was using your raid boss core necro to roam and a celestial virtuoso attacked me. We fought for 20 minutes and then I got bored and left
I threw this together with some budget options, travelers runes, no absorption sigil, and a plaguedoctor backpack. I was reasonably successful considering I barely knew what I was doing. I only play a scourge to be a rezzer metas and otherwise don't Necro. This build is so gonna get nerfed in June.
I'm still not sure between the two Celestial Harbinger build, have ran both quite a bit by now. It's basically this one (with some rune variants) versus the Weakness/Aristocrat version, both have been nice.
Been thinking of trying Cele Harbringer and found the two builds you're talking about. Can you please give me quick pros and cons for each one? Which one is more survivable and which one does more damage? I'd use Dagger offhand for the Weakness one, and Elementalist/Adventurer rune for Vallun's build.
@@yuriboyka9927 The Aristocrat/Weakness one has higher sustained damage due to the might generation, and due to pulsing weakness in shroud it's also more survivable in middle-long fights when your opponent is on top of you. I've felt that this one is better against people that stick on you well. I see this as the more "brawly / stat check" variant of the two builds. The Celestial build as per this video has more kiting potential and sustained healing The kiting potential means it has a bit more play against (what I feel like are) our worst match-ups; which are burst + disengage playstyles. The sustained healing gives this build an edge in long fights (i.e. against more tank-y builds). Overall I think this build is slightly less 'powerful' but gains more from the Harbinger's skill. While I've found no Harbinger build that is particularly good in outnumbered situations (medium mobility, not a lot of stab) I've found that second build gives you some more options by kiting and sustaining. On the weapons: I play S+P/D on both but find that I'm way more in staff on the sustains/kiting build, while I try to be more in Pistol/Dagger on the Aristocrat build. This is mostly due to the weakness application in P/D and easier to hit P/D skills when fighting close to the enemy. I hope this helps.
Hello Vallun and everyone, I've been a bit desperate lately regarding Harbingers. My WvW Roaming and OW Class of choice is Ele. I'm swapping between D/D Tempest, Fire Weaver and Cele Cata. As a reference my builds: D/D Tempest: gw2skills.net/editor/?PGgAgilRw6YesG2JOSP3tdA-z1IY1oh/M6TCEpCQyDA-w Fire Weaver: gw2skills.net/editor/?PGgAw2lZwiYeMJmJOSXbvfA-z1IY1ohvMyMB6tAsbAA-w Cata: en.gw2skills.net/editor/?PGQAIlZwyYeMX2LOSXZxPA-z1IY1ogvMiMB6tAsbAA-w I am having huge troubles against some specs I encounter in roaming situations. While the classics of those troubles - Mirage and DE - are pure cancer and you can relax cause you exactly know what type of player plays that shit, I also found that I cannot seem to find any sort of way into a Harbinger. The Condi bomb, the constant fear disrupts and ranged pressure (seemingly most attacks are not even projectiles?) feels really bad to play against and I dont really know how to change that. And then there of course is his Elite. Which was (deservedly so) nerfed in PvP but not in WvW. Thus, it's still utterly broken there imo. Does anyone have some advice? When is he vulnerable? What counters him?
@@v8rockz Not worth it???? it was always intended with that duration, check here cmc saying it the first day ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TsRZKpWgE_A.html
as long as in combat with swiftness your walking speed really closed to superspeed. out of combat there is no usefullness of it since your walking speed with swiftness is just beyond the speed runes give. people use them in combat to kite and get position more quickly if they have good swiftness source ie. revenant with one of the trait gives swiftness when it uses energy. it gives perma swiftness to that class. and with renegade shortbow basically u can nuke your target from range while kiting and keeping distance your enemy with help of speed runes.
Aristocracy can work, but then I'd recommend picking up the 'Weakening Shroud' trait. This does significantly alter the playstyle i.m.o.: more brawly/up-close/stat-check, less kiting & sustain.
dude i love your videos and builds, but pls dont make videos of these cheesey, op, braindead builds. nowadays every inch in wvw has full of cele harbingers. they are ruining others game. especially with that op cele stats.
