I’m a thief main and came upon your thief videos to learn more in depth… and then i came upon a familiar looking saber… and ill say it the right way, Ekusu… KARIBAAAAAAAAA (hint: EX… CALIBAHHHHHHH) *im sorry if you’re the wrong saber I saw today ._.
Just got this game and I've been watching a lot of these beginner videos.. so far this has been one of the easiest ones to learn from. You make the info really accessible to those of us that don't know the gw2 jargon yet, who could otherwise get hung up on something that seems obvious to frequent players
I’m new found replacing the great sword with a maul makes the build so much easier to play a lot more stuns and can play defense on offense I’m stuck on that build seeing it’s just me as a warrior fighting 4 to 5 mechs every match
How come skills like "Great Fortitude" aren't chosen? Is there any point in running something like , "Destruction of the empowered" or a boon removal build say with "Loss Aversion" and "Enchantment Collapse"?
Forceful greatsword is much better than great fortitude. You gain Might on critical strikes which in turn gives you health from "might makes right" and also lower CD on all greatsword abilities, cant pass that up. You can take loss aversion, its a good talent and I take it sometimes but between that and slow counter is just preference. I like the cripple but loss aversion will add to your DPS if you are removing boons. The reason I dont take enchantment collapse is because typically I am not in big crowded teamfights as a spellbreaker, usually I am trying to solo far or something so the tether makes more use and gives me more damage on tethered targets. Hope this helps.
Very nice and easy-to-understand video. I want to know why in your video you have 2 shake it off but when I tried on mine it only gives me 1 shake it off.
There was an update recently that’s probably why they updated some Warrior stuffs. I’ll double check for you next time I log in but I can’t right now :(
Would love to see this build in PvP. I just tried this build in a few matches and it did not feel good. Could just be me but I would love to see this being played as it might help.
It took me awhile to get used to the different playstyle as I mained thief first. But spellbreaker really wants to try to be away from massive teamfights and capping far and then rotating out or stalling when you get 2v1'd. they do much better in duels but some classes just straight counter you so you gotta know the match up of who is coming to stop you from capping/decapping. Also if your team doesnt come to +1 you then thats not really your fault.. I dont have full gameplay videos but I do have a montage maybe this will help a little. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9gBDCqfx4Nk.html
Solid guide! Quick question: which spell would you consider as a replacement for rampage? I’m not sure I like loosing control over my weapons, hehe. Cheers!
