I ONE SHOTTED on EVERY Class in Guild Wars 2 WvW 

I learned a lot about matchups and how to bait defenses and kite by playing a meme 1 shot build, simply because it's a lot easier to play (few buttons, you get it or you don't). Being easier to play meant I could spend time observing my opponent and my game plan was very clear, so less to worry about myself translated in a better understanding of other builds. Later on I enjoyed other more well rounded builds because what I learned this way stayed, and I could worry about better rotations.

It's really fun to see all these "out of meta" weapons being used in such an effective way.

Mate this is really fun to watch. Could you make a video with explanation of every one shot combos you made with those builds? It would help us to avoid oneshots. Thanks for your work

True ONE-shots are so rare though. My absolute favourite playstyle in any MMO ever is the S/F fresh air ele in GW2. It was extremely risky and technical to run but so slippery and powerful when mastered. Since then I've always stuck to glass cannon builds. I love the no-mistakes-permitted playstyle, forcing you to be super engaged. If you do it well, it's the most spectacular thing ever and nobody is safe.

omg thank you - i'm just starting the video but am excited. i get one shot all the freaking time whenever i enter wvw and it gets really really depressing. i'm a noob and these builds kill all my enthusiasm for the game mode. it'll be nice to learn a bit more about them to see if i can either compete or survive better for once.

my favorite 1 shot of all time was playing a 2h shadowblade in Dark age of camelot and perfing a caster.

I was completely expecting the Mesmer one shot to be the F1 volley of Virtuoso.

Hiya Vallun! I wanted to message you in-game, but worried it might be lost in a full inbox. I've been playing around recently with some condi Specter builds for PVE, but am struggling with them in WvW. Would you consider making a "One Build to Rule them all" about Condi Specter with all the recent updates in mind? (If possible, focussing on the Scepter?) I kind of feel that Specter is in the situation where if the build runs well in WvW (Roaming), it's not that great for strikes and general PVE. Am very curious about your thoughts/ideas. I'm currently running a zerker/marauder Specter with Sc/D as the main set, and Sw/D when I'm in a 2v1 or I need to do mass condi cleanse. I'd love to be able to walk into WvW and roam with a Specter condi build, and with the same build enter a Strike/Raid. Would love to chat in-game too~ Demonhead.7584

Could you explain the Holo 1-Shot please. In sPvP I always go with the sword 3+ overheat or Rifle 5 + Overheat. In this video you did it from range and I can't tell what's happening.

Hello i am a new player and planning to buy an expansion. I am a fighter type so i played warrior and still lvl 45. Can you suggest me the best class to play to make it my main? I got 200+ ping always, can I survive in pvp/wvw if i played as a warrior? Hope you give me tips and build thanks!

Haha d/d thief while yes gimmicky is the hardest thief set to play. Plus its just silly fun to zerg dive playing it :D

Personally, I like it when 1 shot meets Tank, the results are very interesting. I mostly am support player. I have received some heated messages as a tank.

wvw compared to pvp isnt even CLOSE to the same. i wish you put this much into pvp. th only ones doing wvw are experainced players

ive been using my soulbeast all the time in wvw until i realized its not actually fun killing people by pressing only 2.

I agree. That's why I never play WvW unless I have to. It's not fun. You walk for 25 minutes then get one shot by one sweaty asshole. Structured pvp has its issues with match making but it's never that bad

I am so unsure how to feel about it on one side its kinda cool on the other side its pretty dumb and not spreading the joy of gw2 combat when its over with a finger snip and also ruining the experience of others overall I really hope anet finds a way to remove one shots while not makeing everything super bunkerish

Gonna be honest, as an Ele (non-bunker) main I'm subjected to far too many toxic builds, not only one-shots. It's getting old. And as much as I'd like to be able to do so in return, at 180 ping the inputs just don't work for something like fresh air burst. More practice or just accept that it is what it is? I'm seriously considering switching to glass cannon 3 input gank classes to relax.

you better should show some of the most annopying wvw stuff and thats classes that are undestructible. ive seen 3-4 player hammering all they have on one player and the end was 3 dead players and 1 who already left the fight after a minute. a fugfeast of cosntant blocks dmg absoprbing escapes health regens and what not plus a boon bar that is cosntantly refilling...one shot is so 2k wow. havent seen it in 6 weeks wvw now tbh. its all about mr or mrs undestructible while donking down 3 players in a dance contest

I find a lot of players arent making use of invulnerable or life saving mechanics... Because my P/P thief is doing very well at deleting people in conquest, When it shouldn't be Many dont even have a single stun removal, Let alone 2 or an automated perk ability when low health

Well it's not news that wvw is broken and easily abusable. And so is pvp with meta builds but these "one shot" builds aren't one shot at all in pvp and I rarely see people playing them cuz they're poosiesss. (Other than those cheeky perma-invulnerable mesmer and ele cunts)

None of these encounters are one shot.

This the pure garbage that is GW anyone thinking of this game go waste your time somewhere else between the broken hacks used every day ANET sucks! Do not give them your money!
