I’m getting ready to walk to Nanhu park from my home in Nanning. I have returned after 6 years and loving every minute of being back in China. I have also visited Chongqing, Dali, and Guiyang since returning on the 6th of September. Too bad you’re not here we could drink a few cold ones in the park god knows it hot enough. Good to see you in Nanning again even if it was 2 years ago!

Yeah, telling the truth would sound like propaganda to Trumpers and duds from apartheid S.A. However, I also live in Nanning and your statements about Nanning are just true. I just returned from Xinjiang and I loved the people and the food.

Nanning is very affordable. There are Starbucks, Walmart and MacDonald's. Good clean apartment is looking at $500-$600 a month. that when I was there in 2019. It might went up a bit after Covid.

Gweilo makes excellent videos. I love visiting quality parks.......Stanley Park in Vancouver, Kew Gardens in London and when I lived in Chiangmai Thailand I saw the most beautiful parks outside the city and in the countryside. And in Beijing I saw The Old Imperial Palace Gardens.

Nanning is considered a fairly poor province in China, and watching the Gweilo's videos, it's completely different and livable than when I went there 10 or so years ago. Really nice.

Although Qinzhou is a tier 5 city next to Nanning, the cost of living is even lower.

No politics. The hot wet muggy Hong Kong summer seems getting longer and longer like year-round. Nanning ain't better if not worse. So I still prefer GTA, but not DT Toronto. The tent city is catching up Vancouver. Luckily the winter here is too cold for its growth! And yes, everything is F*CKING expensive!

I'm chinese, I know that we chinese like to save face too. we are arrogance people as such but we are just arrogonce. But Western arrogance is called exaggerated arrogance. we chinese like the idea of equal and depending on how hard we work to be good. while western arrogance is I'm born with superiority and will always better than anyone else. yeah, chinese highest virtues are non baised ... because superior or weak is depending on time, sometimes we gain things but then one day we may lose it, today i'm strong but in the future one day i'm weak.. who know.. so it is obvious chinese are confucism, chinese buddhism and taoism etc, we promote good news, we hate death and negative... but we understand suffering and sickness too.
