This is Jhin's and Kindred's level of theme quality.

I love how the lore goes that Isolde's homeland has some elements of Spanish culture with Victorian aristocracy, so she designed her doll to be what she imagined a pretty princess in a far-off castle would be like. So while Gwen doesn't necessarily "fit" anywhere precisely in terms of character design, she still fits Runeterra because she is a peasant girl's concept of an aristocrat.

This is the most Victorian era/XIX century theme I have ever heard in a videogame (specially from 0:00 to 1:16) As always, Rito music department 11/10.

This feels a lot like kindred's and Jhin's themes, which are perfection.

Isolde looked so happy with Viego tho. The fact that he couldn't let her rest forever pissed her so bad and he is still stuck back when they were happy together. That's a really sad story.

How I imagine her story is told by the music: 0:00 Isolde is making Gwen 0:16 Gwen is completed and Isolde is playing with her as a princes (0:29 and 0:52) but also as a fighter (0:16 and 0:45) 1:16 Isolde meets Viego. Gwen is alone very often. She doesn't really know what's happening. Time is flying by. Isolde dies. The ruination begins. 1:49 Gwen get's lost and sinks to the ground of the ocean. 2:06 Isolde's soul is searching for Gwen 2:22 she almost gives up 2:38 but then she spots gwen and brings her alive 2:49 Gwen is alive! 3:07 Gwen finds the sissors, needels and thread from her maker and fights the black mist (on the shadow isles). 3:21 Gwen is making her way to valoran/shurima idk

I love gwen and how her theme portrays basically everything that happened with her, this is what i love about riot the most. Also good thing it is on spotify i can hear it while playing wild rift :p

I dunno how Riot discovered Necromancy but they've somehow managed to resurrect all of best composers in the history of mankind to comprise their music team

*Some things I've noticed about this champion theme:* Most obvious being, the main instrument is a Violin, an allusion to how her kit revolves around being a seamstress. Throughout this track, the notes are harmonious, yet chaotic, giving off the vibe that this is the personification of the mist in it's purest form. Most noticeably around 2:06 onwards, the theme slows down and we see Gwen as a doll. As we see her story unfold once more, it picks up faster and faster and full of life, just like she did when she was brought to life by a fragment of Isolde's soul.

Gwen is an exception because she is perfect. But Riot has to take a break from the cute characters, because I miss the big monsters, the last "monster" that Riot made was Ornn, and Ornn was made in 2017. (Reworks don't count because we need new ones)

This theme is bliss to my ears... These string intruments that are protagonised by the violin grow into a crescendo to then break out into cello and harp... It fits perfectly and it's so lovely...

I wish they made her passive as when gwen dies, she turns back into the doll that cant do anything but move around until a set amount of time ends before she's able to turn back, kinda like anivia's egg mechanic into lulu's morph. Would be fun chasing a doll around.
