Thanks for your comment mate :) The Cannon is so damb nice! Look my fuel economy isn't a great example because I thrash the crap out of mine hahaha I give it heaps. I really thought I would have killed it by now but it's been so bloody good. We've towed our 3t caravan around Australia and done 41000kms. It's been perfect! I would pick this vehicle again! I have 2 of my best mates driving them now too. Gwm gang haha Fuel when towing 3T is around 17.5 which kills other Ute's etc. I get around 12L per 100 when not towing but as I said I give it heaps haha I hope this helps and good luck mate. Would love to do a lap, but probably only take 6 - 7 weeks off work. A quick one, maybe. Gday :) thanks for watching. I turned my cameras off the day I bought the car. So you know how to the camera comes up every time you slow down. I hated that so I turned it straight off. So sensors don't go off. Also as part of the tow bar wiring harness there is a little circuit breaker wire that when you open the tow plug is deactivates the rear sensors. So mine doesn't go off with the caravan on.... I don't think I'm being very helpful with this one sorry...

But I have had some warranty repairs done without any issues :) My only annoying one was because they couldn't fault the issue haha but we got there in the end and not I'm happy as again haha But all in all I think they are doing well. But would like some improvements in customer service at some dealers. Haha hope that big rant helped

That's awesome mate!! Thanks for watching! My first auto burn was around 2000kms but some start earlier. Some people's auto burned straight away. It all depends on fuel quality and driving conditions I guess. My ute auto burns all the time. But my wife keeps turning the car off when auto burn is happening haha it always starts at the worst time. So our car needs manual burns sometimes. A bit annoying but it's all part of the fun haha Enjoy your Cannon!!

Hahahaha true! Definitely pop some doeys it helps with warming up the motor for dpf burns hahahaha

I only notice the slowing when I've got a 3T Caravan on the back. So towing 3T and the dpf starts a burn the power drops. I can't feel it when I'm not towing Cheers 🍻

If you're doing long drives you're burning it while driving. Short trips around town are what annoy it. I'm doing a manual burn as we speak and it absolutely stinks, I mean literally stinks.

Yeah if doing lots of highway driving it doesn't need manual burn to often as it does lots of auto burns when do highway / longer driving. If only do short drives and don't finish the auto burns then it will want a manual burn sometimes.

Hey :) If the car needs a manual DPF burn then it goes into limp mode and you need to find a safe place to do a Manual Burn as per my vid. This happens sometimes as the DPF unit in exhaust is clogged and needs a regen to burn all the crap out of it. The car does Auto DPF burns on a regular basis and causes no issues. My friend had no idea what was going on with the LIMP MODE as he thought it was normal haha. I hope this answers your question Cheers

@BenMitro it would be annoying if you lend the car to someone and they don't know about it. GWM should really come up with a better option for this. Maybe just a light that pops up and gives you maybe 50kms to complete the burn. Not just go into Limp mode. Very silly.

I haven't had it happen to me yet thankfully, however, I read on FB that you can swap it into manual mode and get above 80 / out of limp mode

@raymondbourke7957 that's right :) It happened to me when I had the caravan on the back and I was driving through in intersection, wasn't ideal but knew to shift with paddles and got out of there safely 😀

Hey :) Yes it is possible to delete the DPF. You will need to have it tuned afterwards. Contact a diesel tuning company about this. It is not legal though so I wouldn't do it. Cheers mate

@@wheelsbytheocean Its illegal to remove DPF as its a form of emissions control. Your vehicle will not be compliant with the Australian Design Regulations (ADR) - (ADR 79) in addition each state has regulation for the removal emission control devices, You risk your vehicle being defected and you getting fined In NSW for example its "Protection of the Environment Operations (Clean Air) Regulation 2010." You also are driving a vehicle which does not meet the ADR which is a breach of commonwealth legislation This also helps to prevent excess soot build up in your car TLDR - Yes its possible, no you shouldn't as its very illegal.

Nah there's no rust. Maybe some surface rust here and there like that discolouration due to me never washing the sand off. I'm kinda asking for trouble hey

I have no tyre pressure sensors. I thought I could just turn the dash light off but you can't :( I'll get sensors again one day haha

Yeah the regular way around is super uncomfortable in my opinion. Definitely looks better when they are on correct but I don't like how it pushes your head forward. All the stuff they had to do to get the 5 star ancap rating 😀

Hi mate, can you run the manual burn if the engine light doesn’t come on as a preventative measure?

Yes the auto burn will complete but apparently it's better if driving as it gets the exhaust hotter so burns better.

@XXB4XX it comes up on the dash, usually saying it's doing an auto burn :) Some auto burns do happen behind the scenes also..

Perfect. Just as good as any other dual cab diesel ute :) it keeps up great!! Tows our 3t caravan everywhere with no dramas I also give it heaps and race everything hahaha
