GY6 Crankshaft Replacement

On my 139qmb engine crank goes in easily with hands and it ends up moving side to side about 0.3mm. I mean bearing get to move axially i their housings (cases). Is that normal for GY6? Should it be so tight in case that it could not move at all? Bearing are in good shape, but should i still buy new ones with bigger OD tolerance? But if istalled tightly, should bearings then sit in bottom of cases? If so, then maybe shims should be added between bearing and crank webs?

i just have to replace the right cover but great video for that too

I was going to put a 80cc motor in a 50cc scooter. The hole in the crankcase was small so I took a grinder to make it bigger but I decided to go with the small motor. The point is, can I wash the shavings out of the crankcase without taking it apart?

Wouldn't case wear cause that crankshaft to move out of position slightly causing the rod bearing to wear and creating the same problem, when the rod bearing wears it drops metel shavings into the oil, I think a $329.00 Amazon or Ebay engine would be better.

what about the other side where the kick start sprocket is ? how did you remove this sprocket ?

I have a trailmaster 150 xrs go cart im replacing the crank i ordered one and it has the same size bearings on both sides of the crank the one i pulled out has a bigger bearing one the clutch side did i get the wrong crank or do i have to press on a new bearing

Hello could you please tell me how to get the kick start gear off from the other side when taking the old crankshaft out? the 1 thats under the variator + before the oil seal, cheers
