hey guys so today's video I'll be applying a new ceramic coating this one is Gyeon Pure Evo and it's a coating I've been keen to try for a whole now. I'll be applying it to this crazy custom yellow painted Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X
Awesome videos mate, watched a couple and they have all been great. I think I’m going to try ceramic coating for the first time with this coating, I think it’ll look great on my blue !
I used this on my Mazda 3 last weekend, Gun Metal Grey and yes, it does have that candy shine! In a couple of weeks time, I'm going to give it a maintenance with Q2 Ceramic wax and get more shine!
Pure EVO is “the glossiest” of the Gyeon non-pro coatings. Another tester got a full 2 gloss units from Pure, the second most out of 31 products tested. Car looking brilliant. Fabulous color too. Excellent job!
Gyeon Pure EVO was my first ceramic coating, applied to a deep burgundy Jaguar XE. I chose this coating for the "candy gloss" Gyeon advertise, and it certainly lives up to that claim. The only drawback is that it doesn't produce an ultra-slick feel to the paint, but the gloss makes up for that. Great video as always.
Nice work. Looks amazing! The glossiest coating I have seen was 2 coats of Nova EVO from NV Car Care. They also have a pro version but you must be certified. Not sure if you can get it down under. The Gyeon Pure is a one coat but I bet the gloss would be even better with a 2nd coat.
Funny - I also had cquartz uk on my Z… ordered the pure evo!! Wondering what the best topper to ise? So far have been trying the gyeon ceramic detailer ontop of my old cquartz that will be removed… enjoyable to work with and adds some slickness
Does the coating has the wet candy gloss finish like what they claimed? And how does it look compared to carpro cquartz uk3.0, lite, and gyeon cancoat?
Hey mate, just wondering how much you had left over after doing the car? Hoping to get 2 cars out of 30ml but not sure. I feel like they encourage you to use way more than required hey.
