Gylt seems like the Kid's version of Allen Wake.. but instead of dealing with Anxiety of being overburdened by those looking up to you... this covers Depression and Bullying.
Yeah that’s what I thought straight away when I just saw the trailer I love the little nightmares games so much and this Looks really interesting wishlisted it for pc
True! If I get it i'm putting it next to Little Nightmares lol I think this is from the same dev that did Deadlight.. It was Last of Us even before Last of Us.. 2d style tho.. Amazing game not many people seem to be familiar with
It reminded me of a Silent Hill game--fear and guilt manifesting as monsters---but for kids. But fun enough for adults as well. I'd give it 7/10, but I played it 3 years ago on Stadia for free with a trial subscription.
@@thanatopsis70 just because the game has child characters doesn't mean its for children, the game is rated T for teen for a reason it is a bit morbid at times
@@Z3R0NU11 Well, we have a different opinion. Sorry if that upsets you, for some reason. There's certainly no reason to laugh at someone just because you disagree.
Looking forward to this game I m happy it’s coming to pc this month - it kind of reminds me of a 3d little nightmares!! Haven’t heard about this game until today love the terrifying monster design
@@frosty_thegiants_fan3112 oh I haven’t played it myself yet but have wish listed it on steam as I love games like this, but going by the two gameplay trailers I watched it just reminds me of little nightmares with the creepy atmosphere and monster design and particularly that hand reacting around the corner with the long fingers reminded me of the janitors long fingers also that there are puzzles which ln had. I was also reminded a bit of the horror game Alan wake using the flashlight as a weapon to shine at the enemies - I plan to get it myself quite soon and see if I enjoy it 😉
It dosn't though. I started it yesterday and I got so hooked with it that i couldnt put the controller down. This review honestly dosn't do the game justice. Its a short game sure, but its damn good. Ignore this guy, and give it a go yourself. It really is a great game.
@@MegaSantaclaudeI am happy to tell you, that because I had been looking forward to this game (as stated in my original comment) I went and picked it up anyway as soon as it released, and I couldn't agree more with you. I immediately fell in love with its vibe, its gameplay, its heart... its everything. So much so I platinumed it in just few days 🙂 One thing I took especial note of, during my various playthroughs, was their comment about there not being a lot of secrets or replay value, when that too couldn't be further from the truth. Not only are there notebooks, but also the paintings, the birdcages, and also the stone golems that you need to feed those red glowing gemstones in order to get the true ending. I love this game, can you tell? 🙂
@@PikaLink91 Thats great. 🙂 Yeah, the different collectibles are sure a secret. I was pretty far in before i noticed the birdcages and paintings. 😄 But I did the "No kill" run on my first playthrough and it wasnt that hard, but the atmosphere and Little Nightmares vibe is spot on and Emilys voice actor especially needs a damn award, she does an amazing job. The monster design is also pretty cool and the dolls creeped me the hell out when I met them the first time. 😄
@@MegaSantaclaudeI noticed them fairly early, but didn't immediately know what to do with them. How did you get the No Kill on your first run though, considering the game tutorial prompts you try out your flashlight on the monsters? Did you know that was a trophy beforehand? Or are you the type who ignores tutorials? Ehh... for me the voice acting was the weakest part. Emily was fine, so was Sally for the most part, but the old man sounded very try-hard. I was pleasantly surprised to see all text could be set to Danish though as that so rarely happens 🙂 I think there could have been more variation to the monsters, as most of them were those bird-like creatures. But YES, the dolls were absolutely horrifying xD
@@PikaLink91 I noticed the stealth portion of the game borrows a lot from Assassins Creed with the different enemy awareness stages, the ghost you leave behind the last place an enemy sees you. And just coming out from AC Mirage it was pretty similar. At the prompt to kill one of them i guess i just found a way a way to sneak past it. Unless you're talking about the eye growths, which dosn't count as an enemy for the trophy, and it popped for me yesterday and now ive started a new game for all the collectibles and the "good ending". Im still enjoying the hell out of this game and this time i can actually kill stuff. lol
As a horror nut I've been longing for a game where we play as a kid for a change instead of an adult, as I think that could add an interesting perspective to the franchise, so it's a shame to hear it falls flat on both gameplay and story. Also, when do we start hiring kids to actually voice kids, instead of adults pretending to be kids? We are all constantly on about games being as immersive and realistic as possible, so a little girl sounding like a young woman kinda breaks my suspension, even if the game doesn't seem to exactly be dialogue heavy. And I mean... kids are featured in several horror movies and can be great actors, even with the little experience they have, so why would voice acting be a problem.
@@AJARyan-yn2uv Isn't that more so where the kid goes through a twisted nightmare world? I have heard good things as well, but I mean moreso a "realistic" setting.
@@danielsetiawan8754 anime: "a style of Japanese film and television animation, typically aimed at adults as well as children" and second, the art style has nothing in common with anime. Why you trolling like this
@@chloeryanvtuber bro all you do is get in arguments lmfao, get a life. If he was actually “trolling” you’d know it stop acting like any kind of negative discourse is bad
WHAT I SAY I SAY TO RU-vid IF YOU WANT TO ASK ME WHY I DON'T LIKE THE VIDEO AND DO NOT OFFER A REAL ANSWER, STOP ASKING THE QUESTION YOU DO NOT REALLY WANT ANSWER FOR. SO, WHATEVER!
As for the you tuber of this site i just hate any gaming systems that i feel are a waste of money to even buy when the computer is the system that does it all and yes i know your trying to make them into a form of or somewhat like a computer online crap but i do not need another system or do i need another video about it. As for unreal engines or any engine we do not need more detail engine just easy use of them until then all newer engine used to create games or such can burn in hell for all i care.
Some aspects looks good but all that game is only mostly a copy of a other game again, and it is for me mostly Alan Wake. The devs are lazy bastards to think of what a good realy new game without steeling parts from other games!
