It’s insufferable for anyone else that shares the space - and maybe she was scared to be trapped into something like this since she’s been trapped in a horrible situation including hoarding before. I agree. I also feel like the way the internet has meme-fied her is so incredibly weird and not something she needs to see/engage with. Like people can support her and feel she was justified in killing her mom to escape, but the whole 'omg motherrr' and stan twitter-esque culture towards her is gross.

i agree, a lot of ppl seem to forget that all she knew other than jail was a life with an abusive mother who convinced her she was sick & isolated her from everyone other than doctors or events that brought them praise for her “being strong despite her illness”. she hasn’t experienced a normal life at any point & must be in a difficult place with all these publications trying to get a statement & press from her. i don’t want to make what she did seem less than but she was raised by an abusive mother & had no real way to escape. should she have had her mother murdered? no absolutely not. however it’s understandable that she took extreme measures considering her mental state being so much younger she was & the abuse she experienced. i don’t discount it but i also don’t see her as being an evil person bc of it. maybe i’m more sympathetic due to having a shitty mom but anyone who knows the details of what she experienced can see she was put through a lot more than most ppl could even understand & fathom. i hope she’s able to walk away from social media & live a normal life with no one to sway her life in anything other than a healthy way, she’s so behind in knowing how to know a normal person & should have the time to figure that out & not date someone who was after her bc of who she is in terms of the notoriety she has. i don’t wanna say her now ex husband had bad intentions but the fact that he reached out while she was in prison makes it a bit questionable

Totally agree, that man seemed a bit obsessed with her and like he was looking for his 15 mins of fame , he wrote her while she was in prison after seeing the TV show. She never had a chance to be independent and on her own, she was not ready for marriage and that man should have known better. Hopefully her remaining family is helping her.

Anyone who sought her out while she was serving her sentence probably didn't have good intentions for her.

No I believe she should be in there as long as him. It was very calculated. They could have just ran away but they decided murder was the better option. He got the raw end of the deal and was manipulated by her into killing her mother.

He wouldn’t have done it if she didn’t tell him too. She learned how to manipulate from the best, her mother.

How rotten would the food have been though? They were traveling a lot and maybe spent a month at his house.. also if it was rotten there is no doubt in my mind it would’ve been stated if she is already ready to throw out all this about him and embarrasses him with Ken. I believe NOTHING SHE SAYS, everyone must realize, there's only Gypsy's story, and I don't believe a word that comes outta her mouth. Question- she states that her mom CHANGED her to the bed for what a week / two, So,, why didn't she take picture of the Marks it would have left on her wrists? Also, Authorities completely searched the house, they did not find any torturous items, No chains, handcuffs? IMO -Gypsy is the biggest nut case I've seen in years, Nick had a mental disability.,,, Gypsy, prior to Nick getting to the house went in an stabbed her mother first,, making sure she was unalive, in case Nick got there and couldn't bring himself to do it, (he had expressed to Gypsy several times, even the nite before he got there and the morning before getting to Gypsy's house he did think he could do it, something about having to turn into something darker, if he was able to do it.. So, he walks in a dark room and starts stabbing DeeDee, in his mental state do you think he really noticed she had already been stabbed? 7 times he says, and he sticks to his story. Authorities have believed him to be trueful, or so I've heard. HE ALSO SAID, he'll take something to his grave, I believe that is it, I think while they stayed in the motel those days before bus ride, she may have spilled the beans, also, she purposely mailed that knife to Nick's house, she thinks she was a smart little thing , NOT,,, give it time, she'll be behind bars again. I read this somewhere and 100% believe it. Think about it, Gypsy has NEVER taken responsibility for ANYTHING, it’s always someone else’s fault. It’s her dad’s fault for being an absentee father, it’s her mom’s fault for pretending she was sick and medically and physically and mentally sick . It was the doctors fault for buying into Dee Dee's lies. It was Nick’s fault for not being a knight and shinning armor. It’s Fancy’s fault for ruining her reputation. It’s social media’s fault for turning on her. It's Racheal's fault, It’s Ryan’s fault for not being the ideal fairy tale husband, he snores to much, he eats to much, omg Gypsy, have you looked in mirror? The common denominator in all of these people, (and who's lives SHE HAS RUINED is Gypsy. Nicks mom would still be alive had Gypsy never manipulate him. She's ruin/caused so much drama, hard ache in all the lives she's come in contact with. Does she even had 1 girl friend that she's made since leaving prison? NO, has she been an advocate for anything she said she wanted to do and hlep others with, NO. Gypsy can have all the face/teeth, etc done to her, heck a top to bottom make-over, won't change her,,, she oozie's EVIL FROM WITHIN OUT. Give it a few months, she'll be back in jail, she'll pass someone on street that knows she's full of crap, make a comment, will tick her off, and she'll GO OFF ON THEM, GIVE IT TIME, she's gonna POP, she can not control/be center of attention, even though she'd like to. Would love to see a Dr. Phil come back and ask her for another interview, but with added polygraph test,,,,,

If I was being held prisoner, was poisoned, was confined to a wheelchair when I didn't need one, was lied to about my age, and dragged back to my abuser when I tried to escape........I can't say that it wouldn't cross my mind. At that point, it was bordering on self defense. She should have gone to the police and told them about the abuse, but like I said, you don't expect someone to think rationally when they've only known dysfunction and abuse. But no, I wouldn't murder someone over old cabbage or rancid lunch meat.

I think she has a really big team of lawyers (her net worth is now estimated to be 3mil). I’m sure they cleared it.

You can go back for short periods, but it's truly a case by case basis and there are other sanctions used as well. Lots of community service, extra fines, classes, etc.

It’s obviously causing problems in his relationship (which I cannot recall if that’s specifically a part of dx criteria or just a symptom, but I assume you get my point). I mean none of us are psychologists or have met with him and therefore can’t diagnose him, but that seems equivalent to me of saying a depressed person is separate from someone who has depression. I get that people might use that adjective (depressed) in the incorrect sense to exaggerate how they’re feeling, but you understand my point, no?

@@redwoodrebelgirl3010 unfortunately prison for women just revictimizes an already vulnerable subset of the population. I spent two years there for possession charges during the height of my struggle with substance use disorder, but I was incarcerated with A LOT of women who took the lives of their abusers, even in a state with pretty solid self defense laws. Self defense doesn't count when the threat to your life isn't immediate, so when victims of long term abuse finally snap there's nothing to protect them legally. Do I think gypsy is kind of an ass? Sure. But I also think that even if she WAS "in on it" with her mother's scams and schemes, she was a CHILD and the power imbalance there means that any agreement she made to go along with it wasn't really optional in the first place. I unfortunately think that she's headed for an even bigger mess than she's in now, and that she genuinely needed to be in a structured environment like a halfway house or an intensive outpatient mental health program away from the voracious appetite of tabloid media. It's really sad, what happens when the aftermath of someone's trauma becomes profitable to media.

I've also heard her say she is a killer, cuz she feels bad for getting her ex bf into this. She has said she took 2 lives that night, her mom's and that guy cus he's in jail for life.

Research the case and focus on him. Her ex was a psycho. His therapist said he had psychotic tendencies. His mom said she was scared of the person he'd become because of the things he'd do and say growing up. DeeDee murdered her mother would have probably murdered Gypsy at some point too when she could no longer profit from her. Him killing DeeDee so early on in life and instantly getting caught was for the best in my eyes. He was excited to kill her, even planning his outfits. He was going to sleep with DeeDee after killer but Gypsy refused to let him do it so they did it afterwards instead. People that feel sorry for him are People that haven't done their research and only know the case by the show which made it seem like Gypsy manipulated him. If you read their messages she mentioned killer her mom once. And he latched onto it and constantly brought it up. Then Gypsy tried to tell someone what was going on and they told DeeDee. Then DeeDee started cuffing her to the bed at night. That's when Gypsy told him she wanted to kill her mom. And he got so excited. She changed her mind a few times and each time he'd talk her back into it. She was wrong, yes. But so was he, he doesn't deserve sympathy. He didn't need any convincing to kill that woman. Gypsy felt as if she didn't have a choice because nobody helped her when she needed. She was pushed to kill he ran to do it. Not the same.

Not saying he is not guilty, even if he was pressured into it (which I remember his mom said at some point, but i guess there is more info out there now or different sources. Or maybe just years passed and people changed their stories) is a crime committed by the two. Is complicated because I don't think the best solution would've been for Gypsy to tell someone before it happened, she might never have gotten out of it. But I also think that telling his parents when they arrived at their house instead of waiting (i think it was a few days) would've shown more remorse and then the whole "but he did it, not me. So I'm not a killer" thing (That apparently is not something she always says) and violating parole so publicly wouldn't feel... weird. Idk. Sometimes I feel like people do the same thing her mom did of treating her like a child or like she is not smart enough because of what she went through. I'm not saying to not be sympathetic, but she also needs accountability like any other person in the world. So I'm glad she was made aware some of her comments were offending people and she apologized. Over all, ( and I forgot to actually point this out in my original comment because I got distracted with the video haha ), I think it is good she is taking a step back from social media and from been so in the public eyes. I'm glad she has her family supporting her and I hope she gets therapy to deal and heal from everything.

It’s a wild thing to me. I had a friend who was a therapist and she ended up marrying a guy that was in prison on r*pe charges 🥴 and it ended exactly as horribly as you can imagine once he was out. Like I’ll never understand it.

there are texts out there of that man asking gypsy to put pet names in every text so he knows he's "worshipped." thats some serious mental gymnastics and its fucking weird that everybody acts like he's a poor innocent boy who accidentally got manipulated into literal murder
