I work full time and go to school full time and I basically live on 2 hours of sleep a day. It's work then school then barely sleep, wake up and go to work, then school, etc, etc. And then of course you have people who work multiple jobs, never get time off and still can barely pay their bills. It's just so out of touch with reality. It's like these influencers live in another dimension that we jusy so happen to see into.

First time I saw in was in a video of about influencers and they showed a quick pic of her without make up and then with make up and I was WHOA did I see that ugly old lady put make up on and look good!

It sends a wrong message to young people. When lying and acting the fool is more prosperous then going to college or training and working at a fulfilling career. Isn't it weird how each platform has differing comment sections? Twitter for me used to be a freaking dumpster fire. People on Facebook seem to argue back and forth more. RU-vid is sort of 50/50 for me, but I do see more positive comments on most videos that I watch. Tik Tok comment sections are pretty savage and I think that has to do with the fact that it has more young users. Instagram can be pretty bad and also Facebook reels are terrible. I see the absolute worst comments there. Everyone is a professional at whatever the reel is about and/or every one has a negative opinion about what they're watching. It really is disappointing to watch a reel of someone doing something that makes them happy and there are 500 comments telling them how wrong they are or how much the viewer hates what they're doing when it doesn't affect them at all. I tell my husband that there are days when I hate the internet because people are so mean and rude, then there are days when I love it because the comments are so funny and/or uplifting.

@@Prhmangel i know, its shocking the difference, especially on instagram reels, i would a 5-10 second clip, and nothing crazy or upsetting or even controversial is happening, and there are over 3-500 comments pointing out things i wouldn’t have noticed otherwise

I think it might help people to be a bit more empathetic and not so callous towards speculating about public figures/celebrities in the future.

When she first started trending I loved her. I thought she was so honest and I truly enjoyed her reviews. About 6 months ago I started realizing that her "honest" reviews were more likely paid and undisclosed sponsorships. She started to come off as fake and ungrateful. She just started acting different. That whole thing about wanting to try James Charles new makeup line as if she didn't know he is a whole entire predator and then had the gall and gumption to say if his makeup was good enough it could give him a fresh start, like what??? Then when she claimed that an influencer was paid by e.l.f. to say their new jelly lip products were good (like that's not what her Mikayla do all the time) but the influencer wasn't paid to by e.l.f. she just had an affiliate link and she was too dumb to tell the difference. Now I cannot stand her. She is so overanimated and fake.
