Gypsy, also known as Suzuki Samurai, is a pretty good offroader, especially because of the solid axle front and back and the light weight. Gypsy just glided away from where the other SUVs were getting stuck simply because gypsy is lighter. People regret after selling their gypsy. With Judy minor modifications, like better tyres, this can be a beast off-road.

Sir which SUV is the best according to you based on your years of experience? I feel the Toyota's A-trac is best but the everest comes with a differential lock. So everything considered, which SUV truly justifies the S in the SUV?

Freelander 2 is an all wheel drive vehicle. No low range gear box, less ground clearance and no locking rear or front differential. Would arguably be better on sand, gravel and mud, but definitely struggles with wheel articulation and lack of a low range gearbox limits its rock crawling and higher graded off road trail ability. It's not designed for this kind of terrain.
