Josh’s choices killed me! He took a page from her and brought some extra sauce with his vocals and H.E.R, her voice is so warm and pleasing. Her runs were so tasteful! They both slayed and the harmony was perfectly balanced! They complimented each other so perfectly!
Peabo Bryson and Celine Dion rendition will always be my favorite but this one right here with H.E.R and Josh 'Groban is fire, they reimagined this song very well
If you listen to Josh when he sings duets, he always balances his vocal to his partner. He doesn't overpower them which is easy for him to do. He holds back and reflects stylistically, and is very generous in showcasing his partner.
OMG who else feels old as hell knowing this is the 30th anniversary of this song. I remember watching this in the theater when it came out. H.E.R. is of course a master of her craft. Jaron is absolutely correct when saying H.E.R. and Josh's styles work together despite their differences.
Josh Groban is not to be played with, he and Brian McKnight's Collab is wonderful to hear And Gabriella Samiento Wilson aka H.E.R. is a vocal beast. Loving the collab.
Great song selection to critique!!!! Enjoyed your commentary. I always do but today in particular. Because this also marks HER's bridge into acting and the sheading of her glasses which she make comment on another talk show recently. I wish comment had been made by you on the change of her stage name... she will know go by "HER" given or Christian name: Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson.
That song was absolutely mesmerizing! Gorgeous tones and velvety flows, it was one of the most beautiful renditions of that song that I've ever heard! Great job to both H.E.R. and Josh!! 🥰🤩🤩🥰
This was the rendition I never knew I needed!!! I got emotional as my 7yr old is looking mighty confused! 😆 this blended soooo well! Josh's riffs & H.E.Rs unique style, and guitar solo @ the end w/the her true-to-herself-signature look? IM DONE! LOVED!
I love how you analyze the eCh artist(s). Ican’t sing worth a lick, but I always know you’re on point! Loved this rendition. They sang beautifully together 💕
Now I wanna go to Disneyland but they don't have discounts no more for us who live in Southern California an without that discount it truly is Tragic Kingdom 😩😭😢
Their voices blend so well together! H.E.R really stayed true to herself! Her runs, tone and delivery were so H.E.R, she wasn’t trying to sound like the typical “Disney” princess! Josh’s voice is so and beautiful, rich and classical but he definitely took a page of H.E.R’s book and added some r&b and soul in his voice! I’m so here for it and that guitar solo… simply amazing! H.E.R is a musical genius
Beauty and The Beast has always been my favorite movie, musical, soundtrack… so much so that Beauty and the Beast was my first dance with my husband when we got married at Disney World, I had a glass rose with a dome as my cake topper. I’d love to see you analyze some of the Broadway soundtrack only songs, particularly “If I Can’t Love Her” sung by the beast right before intermission… makes me burst into tears every time. Also, “Human Again” which they cut from the original movie, then had it on Broadway and then they readied it to the animated movie. ❤❤❤
Hi Mr. Jaron, can you please react to Morissette Amon, rise up, akin ka na lang, miss you like crazy, on the wings of love, I will always love you, you and I, come on in out of the rain (rehearsal), home, someone like you, there are so many incredible performances and songs. The Bruno Mars medley was incredible as well.
Umm why is it always a competition about eating who and what? He is clearly matching her mezo vibes he can blow way harder if he wants to. They’re both incredible.
@@alanaponte2234 it isn’t competition. Everyone has to adjust. And in this song he changed from his normal to match the vibe. And had he not he would have been overshadowed. That isn’t competition. That is stepping up to the bar. That is entertainment.
@@alanaponte2234 her style was much more I. Tune with the vibe of the song. That is why he adjusted. He couldn’t do his usual. He definitely spiced it up to match her. He knew what to do so he did it.
Okay so something told me to check after I already left the comment on the Rhianna video! I should’ve known you had already done this. Love you! Thank you!
This was just meh, to me. I would've liked if H.E.R. met Josh more in terms of vocal style as he did for her; though I acknowledge that this is probably do to him having the greater range. And overall, the whole thing felt a bit dated. There's no real reimagining of anything Disney.
Nope. There are WAY TOO MANY Soprano Singers that could’ve played Belle. Her neck was extended when she sang. Her ALTO voice range was limited. Her High notes had to be sung Falsetto.
