Heckler und Koch MP5SD is an integrally suppressed version of their famous submachinegun. When we were visiting the Sellier & Bellot factory we had a chance to test this amazing SMG and make a quick video about it.

And it bounces around like a rocking horse from the heavy bolt chugging back and forth inside that lightweight receiver. Oh, and the trigger is bloody awful. It deserves to be left in the corner to gather dust.

@@biddinge8898 UMP in 45 is already subsonic. Easier and cheaper to just throw on a supressor on the end and go then have a perforated barrel with a completely different fore-end like the mp5 sd.

@@VosperCDN Well,if I remember correctly.There used to be a SAS video on the tube,with a Scottish SAS guy(I think) Who stated that the manual ,actually says you shall slap the bolt closed.

We used 9mm MP5 SDs with suppressor for CQB and damn it was a beast. But hard to clean after training - those baffles in the suppressor go down the drain after a while and replacement costs almost as much as the gun itself.

We used to replace the worn baffles with cheese slices, great for sound dampening and it smelt amazing too.

Always been a fan of the iconic MP5 series. While it may have outdated controls and features, it still has many advantages over more modern models like the EVO. Some three years ago I had the opportunity to shoot with one (not SD) that included all the modes; semi, burst and auto. Something I always wanted to try, but never believed to come true for reasons too many.

Fully auto guns I have shot are the AR m60 , 50 cal , Thompson sub machine gun, browning BAR but that hk is fricken awesome the recoil looks like one of those fully auto bb guns you shoot the star out at the fair that thing barely moves .

@@PolenarTactical That was a shooting of a TV series. They compared old weapons with new ones and the same with the Armour. I've understood that the leather has been worn under a knights hauberk. Something like this 😉 That's the gun of Luxembourg Police National
