the h22 are the heaviest of all 4 cylinder honda engines, remember that before u swap those in your hatches, but 180 more pounds wont hurt, they are still light asf

want a turbo h22 eg so bad! I had a b16 eg and it was alot of fun, but with a turbo h22 I could prob get under 12 sec 1/4 while keeping the mpg low and engine reliable

How nuch weight did u get off the back end? I got g23 about ready for my eg coupe but it'll weigh around 2400 lbs as is.

I wonder what trans is in the Civic. The stock h22 prelude transmission isn't bad but an H2B swap is what I've wanted to do, JDM H22A with a gsr trans. 217hp and 163tq with a short transmission is the way to go for n/a unless you j-swap a civic. I love my Hondas but recently I want to get a more hard to find car state side like a Russian Lada 2101

An H22 from a Euro R makes around 220 hp. If the swapped civic weighs a total of ~2500 lbs, it will have a power to weight ratio of about .09 hp to lb, which is similar to a 2018 BMW M550i, an undisputedly fast car which can make it to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. While power to weight isn't everything, and the civic may not make it to 60 in 3.9 seconds, a 220 hp engine in a lightweight chassis like the Civic allows it attain unexpectedly high speeds, therefore why it pulls on the Mustang

I'm the owner of the 5.0, the first race my ignition cut out from 2 stepping. The second race I let off due to a truck. Car traps 119 at the track.

That was a good race. I'm a fucking Ford man through and through but I was hoping the honda gave him a good run for his money. First race was a total joke but the second one....that was AWESOME!! I'd still take the mustang over the civic if they were both free but holy fuck if I had to pick which one to spend the money on.....it'd be pretty damn hard to walk past that civic and have my soul anchored to that 30k before I could start modding my car.

im sure that honda motor has no internals...my stock b16 turbo on 12lbs is on the bumper of a new coyote 5.0 and i paid 1500 for the car Take off!!!

Mustang driver is trash. I raced a 2012 GT with exhaust with my 07 stage 2 sti. That stang is damn fast even though I won. He caught me around 130 mph and tie up to 155 mph. I just bought a prelude and getting the h22 brav put in, it's only 200hp. My sti would murder it

There is no way in hell a basic bolt on h22 is keeping up, either the 5.0 driver can't driver or there is more in the Honda than stated.
