Owned an 93 h23 4th Gen many many years ago. I was bone stock just i/h/e and ran door to door with an h22 4th gen. Also raced a supercharged em1 Si and only lost by maybe a car and a half. That car surprised a lot of people including me. I missed that car so bad over the years I just bought an immaculate 93 jdm Si with an F22B
Same here. I was fully stock h23a1 at the time. My buddy had a h22a swap 4th gen. Dc header"garbage" stock exhaust and it either had skunk2 manifold or intake. I was ahead 0-1/8th. I was still ahead but he was at my rear and creeping up as we slowed down.
Ha. I have a 4th gen, and had to stomp the gas against a 5th gen one day who wouldn't let me merge, he was slowing down and trying to block me from merging I didn't even want to race but I smoked his ass it was hilarious, we pulled up to the stop sign and he wouldn't look over at me after trying to clown me just to get smoked

@@Bambi595 I got a CB7 w/ H22a4 Swap as well... Sent it out to get painted and it came back with no AEM CAI or battery 😤. It's a work in progress. Hoping for maybe 250whp, I'll be happy with that for a little daily 😁
5th Gen Preludes had 190 HP. Honda misrepresented the HP for the 5th Gen. Same engine as the 4th Gen H22A1. Just a few differences like open-deck block. Nothing that affected HP numbers though. The 5th Gen Trans gearing was slightly longer than the 4th Gen's H22 Trans, too.
Is the si stock?it sound pretty loud. Without hood that take off alot of weight. That hood is heavy and so are the door. Si are fun cars. They are lighter with some mods you can probably keep up with the vtec model or even beat them.i had a 94 vtec and my bro had a 95 si. Fun cars.
@@ranek3279 gsr doesn't have the same power / torque. Has some regular long gearbox, and very important for cornering , double Wishbone. Gsr have only in the front .
The Parts Guy I’ve got an h23a1 car that’s pretty light if you wanna run your new lude. What’s in the new one? I’ve got a stockish h23a1 swapped into a 92 hatch gutted to hell and back weighing in at 1750lbs with a full tank of gas. It’s not the fastest on the highway but it’s a monster 1/8 mile as far as street Honda’s go.
@animalanimal Haha the deadlude was completely gutted just 2 seats and half a dash , no AC , no hood , no rear sway bar , no emissions , egr block off , header with 2.25 inch exhaust , cool-ish air intake , IAB's always open , vacuum line off FPR She was Stock On a diet 👍👍 do with that info what you will 😄 haha
H22 was faster on the higher roll. H23a1 kicks decent from a low roll or dig. I beat GSRs all day when my lude was stock h23a1. Pulled my buddies h22a 4th gen but he was coming back. Hung with my buddies 08 Si sedan with intake pretty good.
@@H2Deuce I was using someone else phone but I’m the same person. Nope. I beat all integras I ever raced in my stock h23a1. Every LS and GSR. Mostly stock ones but I was stock too. My F20b motor beat a stage 2 cam itr cams tuned GSR making 200 wheel. My F20b is way faster than any h23a1 h22 or h23a
