Even without VR, it's still really fun to watch people play. Look on the bright side, when you finally do get it, you'll have access to all the things, you're pre-waiting for these releases.
Same boat. Though, as an actual gunsmith/collector I must say this game, and Anton, continue to impress me with the dedication/attention to detail. It's truly beyond anything else I've ever seen (Battlefield 1 would probably be my 2nd place winner, but it's leagues behind H3VR).
Game is single handedly the reason I picked up my VR setup, and although I play a few other games with my friends this is still my biggest time sink. Honestly I still would’ve bought the headset if this was the only vr game I’d ever play rn. Especially with the sandbox tools coming out that make it look like my dream game
The best part about this video is anton discovering that the Target is strong enough to push a gun off the counter and then poking at it to make it is indeed physical XD
That must have been quite the "hold up" moment for anton. Think about the amount of work he's had to put into the physics for this game and then just seeing it work correctly in an unexpected way without needing extra work... that must have been satisfying in a way you can't understand unless you've worked on a massive long term project.
New guns, yeah that's cool, new model for the tec 9, yeah that's cool too, new suppressed sosigun sounds yeah that's pretty neet. WAIT WHATS THIS NEW COMPETITIVE ASS BEATING SOSIGS LETTTSSS GOOO. you know what else kicks ass, The C7A1 and C7A2 Canadian rifles.
Take all the time you need when adding content. Rome wasn't built in a day, after all. No matter what each update brings or how long it takes, every update is a labor of love, which is more than can be said for other VR games.
you can spawn the options menu and the recorder menu to block doors if you're struggling, it lets you improve on things and get a feel for the later levels
I hope this doesn’t make you regret talking about the longer term system stuff similar to the planner for the future. I love seeing the longer term plans unfold and being apart of the whole entire journey there(even if that’s just as a viewer and active player). Take care of yourself Anton!

These new Derringers are pretty sweet! Can't wait. Giga-derringer is peak self defense technology. And take as much time as you need recovering with your health! (I don't need to give you permission) I don't think anyone is complaining.
I don't know whether to be like "Oh cool, an even harder mode for Take and Hold, something to work towards being able to beat!" or to be like "Oh, I'm *never* going to get through that Armour am I?"
Ikr JediTobiwan/Pro H3VR Players sees this and is like. "Ooooh a nice new challenge to fight." Vs New Players "UM are these guys unkillable or what WTF"!?!?
The dreaded word "deadline" sends shivers down my spine, but thankfully that dread is also what helps get the job done, for me at least. For you, I think you're leagues smarter than me, you're gonna make this happen with flying colors. I look forward to seeing you get over the mountain and checkmark that box.
Anton, I know I speak for the vast majority of the H3vr community when I say that you are an inspirational and great meat with not only all the amazing content you’ve given us, but the fun and wonderful community you’ve created with this game. Life occasionally gets in the way, and yes, sometimes it sucks. If you get stuck in a rut or need to deal with personal health, we understand and support you! We all love the game and enjoy all the content you continuously create and add to your masterpiece, but each and every one of us would rather you take the time you need to care for yourself than see you overwork yourself and worsen your health. The H3vr family is wonderful and ever expanding, whether it’s brand new people just getting into vr, modders, firearms enthusiasts, or the legendary playersknown by name like Jeditobiwan, PutterMyBancakes, and all the other greats, we are all happy to be part of Daddy Anton’s family!
I totally get you about the motivational headspace thing. Got the same thing going on for me. Self employed and sometimes I just can't... you could put a gun to my head, I just couldn't. Just not mentally possible to do the stuff I'm supposed to do. Instead, like you, I focus on smaller tasks until I finally get in the right mindset again. It's not easy, many people see it as just being lazy but I get you man. Love your work, take all the time you need. We already got an amazing product from you
I really hope you add a take and hold character that’s just Payday 2, with the heavy operators being bulldozers (maybe with breakable faceplates?) and medics being able to heal wounds sort of like the med gun from meat fortress. I think it would be cool, plus cloakers would be scary af.

Take all the time in the world Anton. Your community will wait for you to get better. You have created THE gun simulator of my dreams, been wanting something like H3VR since I first discovered firearms in videogames. Not only that, but the community that assembled around H3VR, especially the modding community, is amazing, being able to make modular guns and what not. I have enough custom toys to keep me busy for weeks to come, so really, take your time! Get well soon! ^^
wish you quick recovery anton. hope you'll get better soon. A completely (in)sane idea from me, delay the update all the way till the start of december when meatmas starts and have the biggest update in recent H3 history. or until halloween, if you want to do something for that.
I would love to see a pistol shotgun like "Marshall 16" from COD: Black ops 3. Which is a side break-action shotgun pistol with 2 barrels. It would be amazing to see your rendition/interpretation of that concept. 😄
Don't push yourself too hard, we also like, getting new toys to play with. Also, your stuff is always high quality, and this just takes time. Oh yeah and i was one waiting for some big boi Derringers.
I could not be happier seeing the TEC-9 rework. One of my personal favorite weapons that I wasn't pleased with when it came to the model. Huge hype for this update
Keep going at your own pace, Mr. Hand. You've been doing this for long enough to know your limits, so just take care of yourself. H3VR is a passion project akin to Rome, and it definitely wasn't developed in a day.
The amount of effort that goes into these guns are insane! you and your sound designers/modelers are very talented people! Glad to see you're getting a bit better Anton! Also take and hold dead space mode when?
also, I know you're already swamped by work. But to lend some probably un asked for ideas I think it'd be absolutely awesome to see more "toy" guns in the game like the deagle .50 and the potato canon. I know most people come here for like the actual gun mechanics but it'd be awesome to see like a rubber band gun or a nerf gun that sticks darts to things.
the suppressed 1911 sosigun had be thinking of the silencers from John Wick 2 for some reason stupidly specific and weird but it got the happy brain juices flowin so
