That revolver has reminded me of those utterly terrible turret revolvers from the 1800s to circumvent Samuel Colt’s patents. I would say one of those would go hard in H3, but I think they’d mostly just be a silly headache to get in Take & Hold

Absolutely LOVED the demo for Sulfur, very excited to try out the full release! Glad to have some representation from yet another banger indie game! One suggestion I'd like to make is that since Sulfur has gun attachments, would you be able to add attachment compatibility to the Sulfur guns? Possibly alongside some Sulfur attachments if possible.
That's what we want in h3vr a extraction looting experience maby contract griller can have something in it? Like the beauty of h3vr and the ability to fill out a safe house with all your favorite collections then doing missions as a gameplay loop would be cool
Not saying it's like the same thing as if Anton implemented it, but if you are really hankering for that Extraction Shooter experience in H3VR, you should check out the safehouseprogression mod. Cause it's basically exactly that. Pairs very well with Supply Raid or just regular plain old Take and Hold.
Tried the sulfur demo a while ago, I didn't quite get far into it. However, I am super excited to use the weapons in VR! They look horrible to use in Take & Hold!
I know you're busy with quite a lot, but I remember when you once mentioned that the XM177, or CAR-15 would be added to the game. I just hope that's still eventually going to happen, because I desperately want to live out my 80's to 90's delta force fantasy
@@zomboi076 we already have a suppressor that would go perfectly with an older spec ops AR kit, but we just don't have any of the older carbine variations of the AR platform, which is really sad
@nickosman1556 well first I guess, is that the XM177 is one of many "CAR15's", which were pretty much any colt produced AR15 from the 70's to 90's (to my understanding, I could have some inaccuracies there), but typically when someone is referring to a CAR15, they are referring to the carbine AR15's that came about anywhere from the Vietnam War, to the late 90's. So long story short, it's the predecessor to the M4 carbine.

This makes me want helldivers 2 weapons in H3, especially considering how the enemies implement interesting armor and weak point mechanics, reminds me of your old designs for enemies tank things with armor plating and weak points
That revovler would only be worse if it indexed to a bottom barrel. That heigh over bore irons... oof. I downloaded the demo, played an hour, and immediately wishlisted Sulfur. This little collab is proving to be a good advert.
The comment of the range master judging your shotgun skills while waving around the Arbiter 2 really makes me want that public sosig gun range you showed before, with a rangemaster on coms making comments on your shooting, either calling hits or judging you for missing or something, that sounds like a lot of fun
Oh I was just playing the demo of it last week 👀 These are great, though I low-key wished you'd implement Dirk's half-functioning slide lock (in the empty reload animation it doesn't pick up the round when released and the character racks it again)

@Anton Hand, minor suggestion, perhaps a small sound notification, thats triggered when hitting the Targets, toggleble/customizable with a small delay after recieving a last shot. Perhaps with priority settings that only trigger when hitting certain areas, and/or with cresending tones, ie each registered hit from hitting the outer rings would rise in tone, And/or with a customized targeted area ie hitting only the centre 3 times after each other?
Awesome, I'm predicting next modmass is going to have the bulldog from DRG based on the code from this revolver. Has someone already modded in the Type 11 lmg or do I need to keep requesting it?
I dont usually make weapon requests, but a lot of interesting stuff has been getting added lately and with the new interest in nightvision i think itd be really cool to explore another one of the older scope models and also finally see the addition of the M1919A4 or M1919A6 (maybe even The Stinger LMG made from "accquired" AN/M2s) with the AN/PVS-2 nightvision scope for more of a John Basilone experience in Take and Hold, sure you put the PVS-2 on any of the M16s, M14, or even the M60... but none of those are chambered in that .30-06 goodness
2:20 So a turret revolver? Would be nice to have a real design for that implemented in game. People likely have thought about a .50 cal P90 esque thing before since there was one in New Vegas. Most likely closer to .50 AE though since it's in "12.7" which is separate from the ".50 BMG" also in game.
idea: single action revolver in .22 short that has a massive cylinder but only one chamber so that whenever you try to shoot you have to pull the hammer back and pull the trigger like a million times
Anton, im sure you wont see this comment cuz itll get buried, but i LOVE you passion and commitment to this game. H3 to me has T H E best VR firearms, and i believe some of the best guns im gaming period, plus this game came out in 2016! AND you are STILL constantly updating! Devs should pay attention to what you are doing, somebody who TRULY cares about their project. Keep it up, I LOVE the work and LOVE to play h3vr after work to relieve some stress!
Sulfur is absolute fire, got to know it thanks to Anton streaming it, give it a try you won't regret it, also i can't wait to hop on and play with these guns!
I thought of a cool (but pain in the butt to add) character for t&h called rogue renald, probably spelled the name wrong but it would be a character that doesnt get much for weapons but instead would get upgrades that enhances aspects of yourself and the guns you use, like higher damage, faster firerate abilities like possibly an insta kill that has a recharge or a grenade you can spawn that does different damage types, idk i feel like it would be a fun character but it would be hard to add cause theres nothing like that in the base game
These guns sure do fit in with the other totally normal ones. Can't wait to try them out! Also, quick suggestion, would it be possible to make the grapple hook and gun climbable for the sosigs? I think it'd be a fitting addition with the new combat panel stuffs, so I don't have to go attack the enemy by myself and instead just toss a grapple down next to my teammates so they can get up the ledge.
id love to see the indie game generation zero get guns into h3vr and fire a m82 railgun, or a fire G4, or an electric m249, the emp firing pistol would be sick there all called experimental the only obtained from the hardest enemies
