The writ of habeas corpus-the great writ-has been a bedrock of the legal and political structure of democratic societies for centuries. How did this right, which protects individuals against unlawful imprisonment, come about, and why has it been fundamental to our democratic system? Under what circumstances has habeas corpus been challenged, suspended, or even revoked?
Three experts in the writ of habeas corpus tackle these questions while discussing the importance of the great writ during times of peril in the United States. Panelists Leigh Bienen, Joseph Margulies, and Larry Yackle comment on the current state of habeas corpus in this era of terrorism and the Patriot Act. They compare our present state to previous moments of xenophobia in the United States.

Leo Frank was represented by a team of eight B'Nai Brith (a fraternal organization for a specific religious group) lawyers, quite literally the best money could buy... and still he was convicted on the testimony of a lone black man represented by one lawyer who was paid 40 dollars... in 1913. Leo Frank hired the Pinkerton agency, known bagmen for wealthy interests at the time who literally hired criminals as "agents" and several of whom's agents were convicted of crimes, to aid in solving the case, or was it to aid in covering it up? Leo Frank's case was appealed all the way up to the Supreme Court in 1915, by a team of top notch lawyers and FAILED to convince a jury or a judge at any of the several steps in this process. There's very little chance Leo Frank wasn't guilty. He had literally every advantage except probably that of being innocent. The historical revisionism by a certain religious group and their smear organization, the ADL, is a sick joke. Leo Frank was known throughout the community to be a predator of young girls and as a man of privilege, born into wealth, the American version of a princeling, a graduate of an upper crust University (Cornell), he was used to getting away with whatever he wanted and he was used to seeing the people in his social circle interacting as peers and even superiors to the very officials and police he would deal with in this incident. Is it possible such a man from such charged social circles would believe the resources he was capable of mustering could overcome any accusations, especially with such a convenient patsy as James Conley, by all descriptions a gullible drunkard black man who would likely be one of the first suspects? On the other hand, James Conley, the man historical revisionists of a certain religious group attempt to pin the murder on, was a black man working a factory with white managers and owners, the idea that he would think he could rape and murder an underage white girl and leave her body in the very factory he worked with some poorly scrawled notes and get away with it is patently absurd. Any black man in 1913 in this environment would know the closest black man would be the first suspect in such a murder. The idea that he would have the master plan of pinning it on his boss, a wealthy connected white man, and that he would succeed in that is so stupefyingly preposterous for the time period it's absolutely unbelievable. In all likelihood it went down more or less as Conley confessed. Conley was an accomplice to Frank, a gullible lookout, patsy, and drudge worker to dump the body, paid a pittance and manipulated by the sophisticated and intellectual Leo Frank. Frank was a child predator and a murderer and probably Mary Phagan wasn't his first.

I have filed a Habeas Corpus and it was denied the judge called it frivolous and gibberish, they tried me in court and was so damaged. They separated my 3 children after 4 months of fighting my way out of the false felony charges with the grace of the Divine I won my case no probable cause. But they won't return my son back to me my motion was denied! Can someone please help me! My children are the one who are suffering!

Did you file a habeas corpus on behalf of your ? Did you go to the sheriff and file a missing persons report ? Did you file a complaint with the sheriff over missing or stolen property ?

Do have someone that understands law very well that would be willing to file on your behalf? When we go to court we must be confident and competent in front of a judge and comfortable with the subject matter. It's a human trafficking racket, and the kangaroo court case is merely pro forma, so you're not intended to get them back....
