Based on its motto of thoughtful intellectual engagement, #HabibUniversity organized a session to discuss the most pertinent issue of our time, “𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧’𝐬 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞” with Former Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Dr. Miftah Ismail. Session was moderated by Dr. Aqdas Afzal, Assistant Professor, Social Development and Policy at Habib University, and one of the leading economists. From domestic political instability, need of long-term strategy to combat economic fluctuation to the devastating impacts of recent floods on Pakistan’s economy, the session covered each facet of Pakistan’s economic fabric and came out as thought provoking and academically stimulating. The session was made more intellectually vibrant with the rigorous participation of Habib University’s students.
