I picked up the 20 ton harbor freight press, assembled it, and tested it out. Check it out!

EDIT: The bracing at the bottom just needed tightened up. Not wobbly as in the video.

I know Joe is looking to step up his game fabricating too. And of course I love helping and learning as much as I can so I can work on my own Jeep. I will definitely show him this video. ❤️🐞

I've been thinking about getting one of their 20 ton presses myself . I too would convert it over at some point also.

I have a video of some of the mods I did to mine. If you look at them like a parts kit (of sorts) and you aren't afraid to mod your tools, they are a pretty good value.

With the right coupon, it ends up paying for itself very quickly. Mine is wobbly too, just bolted to the floor, its literally just some i-beam that they plasma cut so its not very accurate. Did U-joints, driveshaft lug studs, cylinder sleeves, T-case output bushing, pinion & diff bearings, etc. If you use it alot definitly try to get a deal on the 20 ton air/oil jack, saves your arm a workout and about 2 minutes of you life lol

I put mine on casters so that I can easily move it around

I’m gonna be doing that eventually too. I’ve had to move it too many times already and it’s such a pain to move the way it sits haha
