I really hope the PS5 has this natively and lets you charge your controller by putting it on the top of the console. This solution is really clean and cheap though, thanks for sharing it!
If they are going with that retro model that’s been going around I’d think there would be not enough room to set ur controller/s down to charge it. But if it was just a flat design like the PS4 it would be much more possible
You state you use this method as you kept breaking the port, Would this still work if the port was broken? Once the wireless receiver is connected to the port, if it's damaged from inside the controller, Would it impact wireless charging capabilities?
This trick seems to be more of a 'set it and forget it' solution as long as the port itself is capable of being powered through the port it should be like plugging in a regular cable
Bro in the video the connection is coming out the long side of the receiver but the Amazon link shows it coming out the long side. How did you find the one in the video?
