Use an Xbox Controller with the PS4 

Please note that this device does work with headsets plugged directly into the Xbox controller. I didn't test that in the video but I have since looked into it and they work perfectly well.

This is interesting as I find the PS4 controller uncomfortable with frenetic multiplayer games much prefer the Xbox one controller could it work the shield if so that could save me money

I’ve been finding videos on how to do this and this guy just is a lifesaver and showed us all how to connect Xbox one controller to ps4

I figured out how to do the touchpad: View + Menu buttons at the same time. Hope this helps someone else! Also, the Magic-S (not NS) works perfectly and is only about $20-25 USD, compared to this!

Thats an awesome device. I feel like it would add to my minor problem of remembering what X button it’s reffering to when prompted because of how often I use all 3 consoles but yea I think that’s great and may consider getting one for use with the switch.

will my logitech g933 artemis spectrum headset work with it tho? i have 2k+ hrs on overwatch with that on xbox and bought a ps4 during black friday this year, but the stick-layout is just too uncomfortable. Will I be able to hear audio and speak to my party with this?

I think i used the ps4 to charge it before actually connecting it and then the ps4 recognized the adapter as a dualshock 4. It gives me the option to sign in to an account but i cant do anything because the xbox controllers light isnt on. I hold it but it only flashes for a few seconds before it going off.

How did u forst turn it on? I mean how was the light on the xbox button before even pairing it

i was wondering, does it still have the tilt ability?? i want this so I can complete the game I'm trying to beat and my ps4 controller broke :p

You mentioned the touch pad, how did you find it went with the Xbox controller not having one?

I’m undecided between this and the Brook Super Converter. Regardless I’m hoping to get my Xbox controller hooked up to PS4... it’s just more comfortable in my opinion.

I been using a converter for a couple years now cause I play baseball the show on ps4 but ima Xbox player and the wire been killing me especially with my dogs running back and fourth this is a life saver

Don’t you have deadzone issues with this Adapter. I seem to have a huge deadzone for 40/50% when moving the stick and it makes micro adjustments close to impossible when aiming in cod for example.

4:20, the equivalent for that pad thing is back on the XB1 controller - the button on the left. Me rambling about the PS4 Controller; I’m an xbox user myself and I really don’t like the feel of the PS controller at all. The buttons are stupidly flat which makes then so uncomfortable as I play claw; so my finger is sat across them, the dpad feels cheap ( not saying it is just feels it ) and the triggers just dont feel like triggers oh and the bumpers ( or L1 and R1 ) feel so bad. On the XB1 controller they’re soo responsive, you can spam the hell out of them. And the stick positions I’m not use to and that pad thing, such a weird thing to have to push, like gimme a button to press man. And I’m just kind of let down by how similar the controller is to the previous gen versions. Don’t mean to piss anyone off, by all means I’ll give it a go. But I’ll probs buy an adapter so I can use my XB1 controller.

My friends have a ps4 and it has only 2 controllers (we are 3) I told them to bring the ps4 because my xbox was broken so then I remembered that my xbox controller is bluetooth so I did it connected but it did nothing so I'm copying you now I'll edit this to say if it worked

If I don't have it when do I do

I restarted it and followed evwrything step by step. I plugged it in knowing its fully charged but the xbox button didnt turn on until i had to press it. It then started flashing but the light never stayed on. It just kept flashing on and off. The adapter light was blue tho the whole time.

Mine only goes to blue when i remove the cable. It goes to red instantly when i put the cable back in. The Xbox logo always blinks and i can’t get it connected to my ps4. Its been on charge for 3 hours. Thats just insane how is it still not fully charged yet? If it takes this long the battery better gives me 10+ hours to play
