my husband found me a lock when on a walk. i figured out the lock combo and it has been good for short trips...however if i was biking to my job i would purchase a big technical lock to protect my bike

I pranked my brother with this... followed on bike to where he and his girlfriend were going to lunch, (they biked there) took my brothers bike lock off with this trick, walked both bikes home, and waited for my brother to come back home being really pissed. My brother said his bike was stolen, 3 days later I took it from where I hid it and said I found it at a bike rack at my school. He totally believed me. Thanks!

me and my mates do this to eachithers lockers while waiting for class. its so satisfying although worth practicing...just get a normal combination lock and reset it without looking (although it is sometimes good if the lock is one you will use to write down the number if you cant crack it) and i find it helps not to look as then you concentrate more on the feel of the tumblers jiggling. do what he does and once you have the knack for it you can do any cheapish combo lock in a minute or two .

I got a lock with 3 numbers and a button, you can pretty much try out all combinations from 000-999 in less than 5 minutes. Never buy number locks! Always buy key locks, they're much more hack-proof or whatever.

Works. I cracked the one that was locked on the bike I bought.

OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH I CAN FINALLY UNLOCK MY NAN FROM THE POLE OUTSIDE MY HOUSE AFTER A MUCH WAITED 7 YEARS!

I used a flat head screwdriver all the way down the left side of the lock and it popped open within 60 seconds. Just get you a flat head screw driver and pop the left side of it open! You can't use the lock afterwards but it will come off easily. (The left side is nothing but plastic on the inside it pops off pretty easily I promise.)

I forgot the combination on my bike lock, after not using it for 3 years. It's all metal and has five numbers instead of four. How can I figure this one out? Thanks!

actually theres a store called harbor freight that sells all kinds of tools and shit for dirt cheap, including but certatainly not included to machetes and flint/steels for fire making.
