Finally, inspired by Hada Labo's latest 2020 reformulations, here's my review on all of their lotions. If you've been confused by what the different coloured bottles specifically target, or what the pink/orange labels mean, this should help you! Also, I'll compare what's different between the former gokujyun formulas and the new 2020 versions. As always, highlighting which ones I prefer, the ones I don't and why. Enjoy!

Just fyi, I linked where I personally bought all my new versions and had no problems with my orders last year. However, they told me they’re having alot shipping delays due to Lunar New Year Holidays so be mindful of that if you're considering purchasing through my links. There could be a longer than usual wait time. I’ve also purchased a few times through amazon however, almost every time, I received the older versions of the lotions even if the 2020 versions are pictured. This video is so timely - I have currently four of them: I used the Alpha on my body, Premium for extra dehydrated feeling, and - my absolute favourite combo: Melano CC under the Tranexamic acid version. Love Love Love Hada Labo!

@@gothamista I love the Milano CC serum (it's the best Vit C serum I've come across) and so I gave the CC Lotion a shot - it works well in combination, I find. Together with the Tranexamic acid and a Vit C serum, I see a remarkable difference (1,5 years ago I battled adult acne and I tried all kinds of things to fade the marks. Now they're almost entirely gone).

I don’t understand why people pay high prices for tiny bottles of hyauloronic serums or even water creams when Hada Labo makes so many wonderful HA products at a fraction of the cost. The Premium is my favorite as well and I apply it prior to tretinoin which I attribute to the ease I’ve had with adjusting to retinoids!

@@hylcelrin Yes. I apply Hada Labo to my face when it’s still damp after cleansing and giving my face a quick spray with a rice and ceramide toner. I let it dry and then apply tretinoin. Finally after waiting about half an hour I apply my soy and ceramide rich night cream. By sandwiching tretinoin between a layer of hydration and a rich moisturizing and somewhat occlusive night cream, I don’t experience any of the irritation nor compromise my skin barrier. The tretinoin still does a beautiful job! 💕

I didn't even realise there was a light and rich version of each of them, while overwhelmed by the different packaging 😱. I'm so happy I happened to get the classic one in the moist version by accident, I wouldn't have liked a watery t texture. THANK YOU for this overview 😘!

Ugh I love you so much!!! You were the on that introduced me to Hada labo about 4 years ago, and I’m so grateful that I found this line! No other toner/lotions hydrate my skin like these products. Whenever I use retin a, I use this to combat the dryness, and the flakiness is almost unnoticeable. As you know, retin a cause sever flaking, but this almost eliminates that! After washing my face after a night of retin a, my skin feels very dry and itchy, but after putting this on, that is immediately relieved! And it does so for the rest of the day! I use the shoryujun one and and premium and it will be a staple in my skincare FOREVER! Take everything away but leave me with these and I’ll be ok! Lol. Such a great and informative video!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Gokugyun lotion is the first Asian skincare products I ever purchased, when I first started branching out after watching your channel years ago. Now, most of my skincare and a minority of my cosmetics collection is consists of Asian brands. I have tried all the Hada Labo lotions in light and moist versions. I particularly like the vitamin C light version even though it was not your favourite, and the red alpha in the moist version. I also love the original for my hair as well - I keep it in a little mist bottle and spritz over my hair once or twice a day, it takes down the static from being in a dry office environment and gives my strands some moisture and gloss without any weigh down. So glad you made this comprehensive review and comparison! I'll admit that each time I tried a new lotion, it was trial and error because I can't read the label! It's nice to hear your opinion on these, I'm thinking of trying the blue bottle again but in the premium version this time based on your information - I did not realize this premium version was different!

Golujyun Premium was a skin savior for my dry, eczema prone skin. I first discovered it about a decade or more ago as well! ❤️ I loved my Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium and Kose Deep Cleansing Oil. I was 20-21 years old and they both end up in circulation a lot even today. Now I want to get all of these lotions. My chest could benefit from some brightening. ✨ Thank you for this!

I love my Gokujyun Premium but if I ever strayed I’d probably always choose orange/rich over pink/light because my skin is dehydrated even though it’s not dry...

I LOVE the Premium Lotion and just started using the 2020 version and I find it even better! I use it before my nightly Differin use. Wish Tretinoin was available OTC.I first heard about Hadalabo from you and wondered what it was. At the time, I was into Korean skin care. But your saying that you had dry, dehydrated skin really spoken to me as I was noticing that about my skin. Now it's my holy grail. Thank you for posting this review! Love this. I've been a stan of this brand for about 2-3 years now. I can never go back to any other hyaluronic acid lotion and the value for 💰...unrivalled. I love using the Gokyjyun premium lotion as part of a hydrating skincare routine for my oily, acne prone skin. Since starting on tretinoin, it's been a life saver.

I bought Gokujyun Face Wash at Watson when I ran out of my regular line face wash while being stuck overseas during the pandemic. I loved it right away. I have used Gokujyun Line since. I should try the Sherujyun Premium. This is what my skin needs the most. I’m glad I come across your video.

I can vouch for Shirojyun range. I've had uneven skin tone and lot of deep pigmentation. Although I have been using skinceutical's vitamin C, I did not get the result I desired. Then I add hada labo's shirojyun's tranexamic acid essence to my routine. I couldn't believe the effect I have been seeing, it boost's my vitamin C serum and accelerated the brightening effect. This is so synergic with skinceuticals and i had no reaction. Although I have used other ranges from Hada Labo, I don't get "wow" effect as same as this product gives me. Thanks for the review!!!

Thanks for this video. Found it really helpful. I used the Gokunjyun premium 2 years ago it didn't go well with my acne prone skin. It was too heavy and i kept getting white heads. I know about the shirojyun but never tried it. However, seing this much variants and the fact that there is light of each makes a lot of sense. I hope to get my hands on those that suit my skin better

I started with the white bottle then I switched to the gold premium and have been loving that formula for years. I have recently added the blue premium bottle to the mix, as well. The gold bottle is by far my favorite. I want to try the red bottle, I think it would be good for body use.
