I am enjoying watching the videos. You would have just missed a part of the wall at Heddon on the Wall, just before the Hadrian's Way rejoins closer to the course of the wall itself.

Hi Paul, thank you for your videos. I did the coast to coast a couple of years ago, pre-Covid, and I found your videos very useful for my walk. I live in Australia but plan to be back to do Hadrians wall sometime in the next couple of years. Once again I really enjoy your talks and find them very useful so thank you so much!

Looks like perfect day for a walk and the trail itself looks to be quite easy. Did you pass many shops and pubs or it's necessary to carry own food? Thanks sharing this expirience.

i didn't see very many shops or pubs really so I think its best to take your own food.

That’s tough going, Hadrians Wall In 4 days. Mind you at 73 and two knee replacements I tend to take it a lot easier now. Haven’t done this walk myself but by your video it doesn’t look to be that brilliant, a lot of road walking and not much wall. I am presently over from Australia with my wife and we start the Swales Way tomorrow over a more relaxing 6 days though and staying in pubs and B & B’s, way to to go. Looking forward to your next adventure. Ivan

Thanks for your comments Ivan. I did enjoy this hike but I'm glad its over and probably won't be hiking it again. I will be posting wild camping and day walking videos this year and more long distance multi-day hikes next year.

Any ideas as to which multi day hikes you may do next year? We have booked to do the Abbey’s Amble walk next August. Will keep walking as long as I can but due to ageing looking at walks with fewer hills although having said that we have booked a week in the Lake District so possibly still a little hill walking left in the old knees.

I haven’t done the Ridgeway but can recommend Offas Dyke. I did find this tougher than the C to C though but possibly due to some bad weather and heavy going. Look forward to seeing whichever you decide.

Yes I'm now using a GoPro which has improved the quality. I just need to improve my camera work now.

Paul Willcocks it’s good mate, I’ve got a hero 7 black which has the stabilisation and 4K 60fps it was quite expensive but the footage is very good. Your camera work is good feel like I’m on the trail.

@@DJOutdoors Thanks. I've got the hero 6 so it only has stabilisation up to 2.7k but that's good enough for me for now.
