Here's a short video of Hafriz Shah taking delivery of his own Proton X50, including why he bought it plus plans for mods/fixes. Do you think he's made the right decision with his new SUV? Full X50 review: bit.ly/Proton-X...
Congrats Hafriz in X50 collection, orange color is so striking and no issue in finding ur car no matter where u parked, loved the car just the way it was built instead of mod here and there, my main concerns are on wind noises and lack of apple carplay only though, do keep us posted if this particular unit also facing severe wind noises and any solution to fix it! Cheers..!
@@hafrizshah4937 Please keep us posted how you resolve the wind noise. I can start hearing the A-pillar from ~75km/h onwards. No joke is quite loud. Found this issue reported on China Geely forum too!
@@hafrizshah4937 Hello hafriz shah can you do a review of the all new volvo S90 facelift that is coming to malaysia on 2021...please.. and will there be a fully petrol no phev with sunroof... Planning to get one... Thank you....
I really hope future Proton models will receive Apple CarPlay and AndroidAuto. If they (Proton) able to do so, for me, it shows that Proton can hear they customer feedback, and make they own changes on their own market (Malaysia). Rather than just receives whatever is in the car from Geely (aside from the local tuning). Anyway, great car you got there Hafriz. It really is a masterpiece in it's class #justmypersonalopinion
This one Proton definitely have to wait for Geely. Developing OS independently for small market is not going to happen. Let's hope it's in the pipeline as Geely is entering Europe through Lynk & Co.
@@hafrizshah4937 I mean that you're flexing how ballsy you are at using Iphones without any protections 😂 Iphones are kinda infamous for their fragile glass front and back. Just pray that no accidental hand slip incidents
Hi Hafriz, now 1 year++ have passed. Could you please share your experience with your X50 so far? Any issue i.e. leaking, engine, electronic stuff, etc.? (issues taken from X50 group) Would be great if you can do a short video summary, looking forward to it. Thanks.
Hafriz, now that you've got 3 months behind the wheel of the X-50, how about an updated video regarding the experience, the good and the bad as well as any new mods you've done to the car since. Thanks!
Congrats Hafriz to be at least among the earliest to get your X50! As for us its quite disappointed Proton cant even tell us when is the delivery even we did the first day booking. Hoi Proton where is my flagship??!!
Congratulations for getting your X50! Speaking of window tinting, what's the maximum thickness the car power window can take? Is double tinting (security film + another solar tint) advisable?
Not sure about the maximum thickness, but double tinting is definitely not recommended. It will likely be too thick (may rub and scratch the film), not to mention the combined VLT with two layers is likely to exceed JPJ regs.
Salam Hafriz, appriciate you can share with us, the reason you decide to buy a X50 instead of waiting the Perodua Batu (Daihatsu Rocky) lunching soon.. congrats bro own another flagship model by Proton
@@hafrizshah4937 absolutely..the looks much more "encem" on X50 rather than the Rocky.. the design similarly as others Japanese car...by the way suppose you replace 308 Gti with YaaRace Gie-R 😄
would like to ask during driving mode..can the passenger door open without the disable the auto lock? As i notice during parking mode, the passenger door can be open after twice pull.
Suggested to protect your car with PPF or atleast get ceramic coating for it. Because you are not as rich as Hafriz to use without protection, if it's spoilt, he will buy another new car, rather than fix it
Man so did we book right on the first day. Till today there’s no sign of the car and the dealer says maybe another 3 months which is March 2021. Absolutely unfair and ridiculous
Overall, no. But if you really need a very practical interior (Ultraseats is excellent) and highly prioritise fuel economy over performance, then you may consider the HR-V

No la, I've never ppfed anything on my cars. From what I've seen, they always leave a slight tint on the paint or lights. Unless you go for the top end stuff, which is just way too expensive. TGDi badge on the doors, I have no issues with them
Reviewing cars sure does make a lot of money aye. After X70, in a span of 2 to 3 years u manage to save 100k for the next one. That's wicked. I can only make 20grand a year of saving.
