i need to start taking better care of my hair and you inspire me to do so kayli! i really lack self-confidence when it comes to my hair because it's so thick and frizzy a lot of the time and i'm clueless as to how to take care of it/style it. it looks like we have pretty similar hair types (2b/2c) so i'm looking forward to trying all the products you recommended! 🤍 i know you showed your fav hairstyles but can you make a separate video showing how to do them? i always shy away from banana clips because i don't know how to use them 😅
the editing on this video is so good ! i imagine it took forever to take the tiktok sounds out of the background and then reapply the automated voice feature
Don’t usually see 2A hair texture ppl… I’m a 3A and I love yours!!! I personally love how it can easily/ quickly go in between two of my favorite hair types (which are wavy and straight)… Also love your voluminous/ old Hollywood vibes straight style
Try cornstarch and water and put it in a pan and dont stop mixing and when it starts boiling only cook it for 1min after boiling leave it for 30-60 mins and u will see it will be more of a softer curl and more like her hsir
Very informative! My hair is the same as your's- fine, wavy and abundant! I'm thrilled to see how beautiful it can be. I like your videos about how you style your natural hair; over the years people with have told me my natural hair looks messy and unbrushed. I'm happy to see you flaunting your natural hair and I hope people will realize it's another hair type.
Lately i realised that hair care is as important and pricey as skin care. But it is all worth it in the end. For hair care, u need as much product. I used to think finding the right shampoo & conditioner alone was enough. But i must find separate products that will care for my hair and my scalp. Which sucks ;-;
My tip… Search for “cronograma capilar para cabelo •here you write your hair type in Portuguese•” (what would be “capillary schedule for •your hair type name•”)!!! You can search in English but you might find more accurate informations in Portuguese (and then you can translate to your language)! It is something that we do in Brazil (basically we’re as crazy for hair care as Korean ppl are for skincare if that makes sense)!!
A pre shampoo treatment ( if u have certain hair conditions) Shampoo and conditioner/hair mask And lastly leave in conditioner and serum Use heat protectant while using heat Seems excessive but there's affordable options:)
tresemme is honestly the worst brand ever. I had nice thick and long hair, they were frizzy but thick. I started using tresemme on a friend's recommendation and my hair has never been better like before. Its so thin i can fit it in a straw now. I would NEVER recommend anyone to use popular brands that say they give 'salon effect'. Such a fraud. Edit: yall stop telling me its "not bad"! I was literally telling my personal experience, it may be good for you but it will definitely forever be bad for me :(
See that’s the thing! my theory is that it gives the “salon effect” effect in the salon because they just use it once and then they style your hair, but you yourself using it at home makes it super brittle and damaged because of the continuous use! either that or they give salons special bottles of actually good products that don’t suck so that it looks good in the salon and people buy it at home.
@@chanelghostin6060 Yeah, it is! I actually looked into it after I finished the video and basically how it works is the silicone makes your hair *look* really nice but continuous use overtime makes your hair super brittle and frizzy.
@@haileyrocker330 but if we are not supposed to use it regularly at home, why do they advertise it so much on TV? Why sell it in bulk in stores? The products that are supposed to be used by professionals are usually rare and expensive but they sell it to us like we should use it daily. They are still scamming us lol.
THANK YOU Kayli, I have been introducing oil into my routine because my hair was feeling so crispy and frizzy and it's making a big difference, I get so many compliments on how my hair looks now
I use Fructis Garnier Shampoo and Conditioner and my hair is completely smoothe soft and healthy. Just depends on the hair girlies everyone is different
@@kayliboyle OMG I ONLY JUST SAW THAT U REPLIED LIKE U ACC REPLIED IK UR NOT A CELEBRITY BUT I THINK OF U AS ONE YOUVE HELPED ME SM OMG I LOVE U KAYLI THX FOR HELPING ALL THE GIRLIES AROUND THE WORLD FEEL CONFIDENT AND HELPING THEM WITH SKIN HAIR ECT. Hi kayli!! Can you please do a video about your gel allergic reaction? the same thing happened to me with an at-home gelx kit and im terrified to use nail products again!! I'd love to learn from you and see how you've been doing your nails since your reaction and your experience with it!!
i use tresseme shampoo and i feel like it isn't too bad because my hair doesnt have any problems or anything but i just feel like my hair could be soo much softer if i used some thing else!
Could you post about chemicals and things to avoid in shampoos and conditioners? I find it hard to tell if the ingredients in them are good for hair or not.
For one of the ones " shampoo i would never let touch my hair" alot of those for me are "big brands", and for my fellow broke people thats stuff we have dreamed of using. I was exited about buying my second ever Dove shampoo, and conditioner today, and now I'm obviously still going to use it but it kinda just made me feel bad. BUT all that set aside no hate to the creator of the video she is just trying to help people. And if your going to hate on me for this please just don't comment at all.. Thanks for reading this whole essay, have a cookie! 🍪 🥠
I have wavy hair, a little looser than yours but what helps me get the best results when I style is: Style on soaking wet hair, use a spray bottle to keep hair wet Brush through the hair before styling with tension, kind of like curling a ribbon with scissors. It will minimize frizz and help clump the waves. Do this after a cream and before a hold product. Use a hard hold gel. Most wavy hair loves hard hold. Don’t be afraid of the crunch you get on your hair when it dries, take a few drops of oil and scrunch it out! Water weighs down waves, so for the most definition go straight to pixie diffusing (scrunching the hair with a diffuser) instead of hovering around the hair. Hope this helps at least a little when you style your waves!
Hi I know I’m seeing this so late lol but I also have wavy hair and lately I’ve been trying to figure out how to style it and define it better but I have no idea where to start. So I was just wondering what products you use and have found work best for your waves?!
What do you do with your hair on in between days when you are showering, do you put it in a shower cap or just wash with water, love all your vids btw ☺️
For the inkey list. I just bought that & I did the steps oil that you do. Do you think it’s a good idea to use it before shampooing? I also don’t have redness or flaky scalp but it can be itchy sometimes. I just didn’t know a good scalp exfoliater
Weird question, do you always rinse your hair using the hose or is it just for the video? Just realized you would get better water pressure and better control by using the wand instead of just from the shower head.....🤔
You can try coconut oil, it's best for my hair. My hair is 3b, so it's dry and now my hair is nourished so it is soft and has become wavy hair not curly like before. This is the way I use it: Before wash hair, I use one spoon of coconut oil for my hair (the coconut I use is liquid because I live in Viet Nam). This is really important, you use enough amount coconut oil, depending on the volume and length of your hair. If over it's hard to wash and maybe make your hair oily. My hair is over my shoulder little bit. After 30 minutes, wash your hair two times and finally always use condition to clear hair, if not hair always oily.
I cut out sulfates and parabens and only shampoo the roots, no conditioner. My hair is the best it has EVER been. I have straight as can be thick fine hair. I can't believe it doesn't tangle since I cut out conditioner but it really doesn't! I'm thinking about throwing in a hair mask once a week or a couple times a month and see what happens
From my experience what I have read is there are extremely drying bad chemicals in Pantene , I’ve always gotten fungal acne from using there products , if you search there ingredients they aren’t the best. But every one is diff ! ❤️❤️
You should definitely look into itchy M’s and eliminate them from your routine. I get really bad allergic reactions from methylchloroisothiazolinone/methylisothiazolinone. It’s some of the most irritating preservatives and it’s almost certain that you will develop allergies with continued use.
I am from Poland and we have a HUGE hair care community here, and literally, every hair "guru" in Poland says we should not let our hair be greasy for a prolonged time, and we should not try to force it to need less washing and in a result walk with grease on our scalp or worse - use dry shampoo. It can cause hair loss, dandruff, buildup, etc. Using dry shampoo is really awful for our hair, it is unhealthy for the scalp, it clogs it, it builds up on the hair, so then if you use rosemary oil on the dry shampoo it literally doesn't do anything except creating even more buildup of a weird mixture of grease, oil and the weird thing they put in dry shampoos. So in Poland, we recommend that when we for some reason did leave our hair greasy for too long then we should do a chemical peeling of the scalp before washing our hair. Washing your hair every day is not unhealthy, as long as your hair requires it. It is more unhealthy to try to force it to last longer without washing and walking for a few days with grease and dry shampoo on our scalps. That is the only thing I don't agree with from your tips, everything else is amazing and your hair is beautiful
Not the place Lana not everyone believes in god and you should respect others by not bring him up in nonreligous settings like a hair tips youtube videos comment section
I have hair that gets super greasy after just 1 day after washing. I use Glycolic acid on my scalp 2/3 times a week and I don’t use dry shampoo. I rarely use heat and I always use heat protector. I go about 3/4 days between washes but I don’t get why my hair still gets greasy really quickly. Can anyone help? 🤍🤍
Have you tried using salicylic acid on your scalp? I don't have personal experience with an especially oily scalp, but I know that salicylic acid is oil soluble and I'm pretty sure glycolic isn't
