Nicolaus Hess I’ve known many people who when we were in high school had substantial hair loss. One was really really thin and the other had that horseshoe look, hair along the sides and back and barely anything on top. It can happen in your teens onward.

My hair line rarely looks good right after the shower. What I do is I cold blow dry it with the comb teeth pressing it down for a few minutes, and then, the hair line looks great again.

I wish there was a full head, natural, durable; not ridiculously expensive version for women. I have alopecia and wigs are cool but bands cause rashes, the lace is always itchy and because it’s lace the hair falls no matter what because fabric does wear over time. Why isn’t there like silicone wigs with tiny lil holes that allow air flow and then a lil lace for realism around the edges

The one I got in the starter kit doesn't bubble up like the one shown here so I have to use a lot more and seems super diluted and in a smaller bottle size.

Hey Jason, its the same product we have always gotten from Professional Hair Labs. I will say the bottle is smaller, yes. They did that to us without notice and up'ed the price to us. So 33% less product at a higher cost to us. I am NOT ok with that and not on board with it. AT ALL. This is exactly why ive been working on my own product to release that has a better value and size.

I will give you my routine and hopefully that will help. I rinse it daily, condition it every other day with very little conditioner Wash with shampoo every 4-5 days and lightly condition after Hope that helps !

I really need help finding how to get started with a replacement system, but I'm not finding much that helps. There are plenty of videos showing placement of the systems and the maintenance of them, but I can't find any information anywhere about people who do this, pricing, the price of upkeep, anything's about how to actually get started. Hi buddy, when you get a new thin skin do you leave a 1ml or so on the front hairline or do you cut it right back to where the hair starts, reason I ask is because my UK supplier recommends that I leave about a 1ml of poly on the hairline not to cut away the baby hairs, what do you think mate!?

Yes, but you would have to experiment with some bonds to find that perfect one. Most have a product designed for oily skin. Its a pretty common thing with us guys

I do my own maintenance I don't sweat even when I go to the gym I sweat very little and my hair line doesn't last not even a week.(update) , i think i wasn't doing it right. Now it lasts at least a week

Try a different bond for sure. Body chemistry really makes some bonds work and some not. Worth a try!!

mando Rio is your skin oily?if it is that will affect the bond.if not just try a different bond like Curtis said But if you sweat and have oily skin together its gonna be hard to find any bond that will last.I had that problem

I wash my system but usually not the glued down part, in fear of it coming up! I also use Ghost Bond glue! @@sharbearlyons Its pretty life changing. But it all depends on how long you want to leave your unit on for. If you take yours off every few days, I wouldnt use a clear bond. Its more cleanup work and much stronger than the white bonds. Multiple brands make them. Walker, Davlyn, Myself .....

When you say clear bond, is that the actual name of the glue? I use ghost bond XL and every single time I shower, my hair peels back at least an inch! Any advice?

No, sorry. Its the makeup of the glue. Some are white based and some are clear based. Ghost bond is a white based glue. I had that same problem with that bond. Id try Davlyn Green or Walker Ultra hold

It happened to me with ghost bond XL. But, lots of people dont have any issues with that product. Bonds are really dependent on the body chemistry as well

Sure you can go to the gym. Many do it everyday!! Ive never ran into an infection, not once. That would happen from a reaction of a bond allergy or leaving the unit on your head to long. Thats why I preach and teach a max of 2-3 weeks at at time. And healthy scalp maintenance

Good question. I dont have any issues. But I do a full removal and cleanup every 2-3 weeks. Sweat makes it way out just fine !

Its been 17 days now and the scabs have come off. I think its a waiting game now. hope it comes out well. I have a video if you want to see and about to add my second one for the week 3 results

Thanks for sharing great info that is not shared by professionals who install the systems. My husband recently got a Swiss hair system. We were told to only use tape but we are having such a hard time to fix the front part with the tape. It’s very complicated and ends up messy. The glue from the tape has somehow got into the hair side leaving the hair sticky and kinda oily. How do you suggest we take this glue out of the hair? We tried alcohol and removers but didn’t work. Please help. Secondly, is it ok to use the glue instead of the tape for the front part ?

hopefully he answers, but I can tell you what I USED to do, I used "Orange Solvent or Citrus solvent found in Hardware stores, it was safe to use and got rid of the "gummy residue" that is left behind from tape or glue. Sometimes I used to leave the system in a bowl and let it soak in solvent for an hour but just the area where the residue is And second I never used tape only because it was thicker and easily seen at the hairline. Stick with glue for the front hairline as he does. He may have a better solvent AND a better answer for you but just giving you the info I used when I used to wear. (in the 90's- early 2000) Good luck.

Guys !! There is a little bit of a lack of info here. How long is the tape on for? Is it time to redo the unit anyways? And for sure, I use bond on the front hairline of my hair. I wouldnt do it any other way. You need the right tools for the job. Citrus cleaners made for this purpose are the only things to use. Get me that extra info !

What about riding motorcycles and wearing helmets ? How will this affect hair system ? I am afraid spending money and then while I am taking off my helmet my hair system will be ruined .

Funny you ask this, had a client email me 2 days ago and said he does it every few days without issue. From what I recall he uses a do-rag between his helmet and the hair unit. But I will say that the tape or bond must be the right one for this. I wouldnt suggest a daily wear tape or bond doing that

Hi, I just wanted to ask if there is a good hair system for playing soccer and having trainings like sometimes even swimming in chlorine water. I am thinking about a hair system, but I don't wanna buy a new one ever 2-3 months. I heard, that the french lace systems could hold about 6 months. What do you think about this?

In short, no. Chlorine on hair is terrible. The base may hold up but it will ruin the hair

Honestly Its hard to tell. It does look thin when I take off the unit, but it did before as well. Im guessing it sure will look worse to me when I have a full head of hair and take it off and look at my balding scalp. Make sense?

Asia doesn't have this service nor my home country and if I wanted it, I have to fly to another country to do it. I feel like I lost the most beautiful years of my life as I look 40 and I am just a 25-year-old man, you can't imagine how depressing it is to lose hair. I hope it doesn't cost very much and I can find a nearby country to fly to apply this, I am sure I will be able to smile.. and gain the confidence I lost in myself.

Great video Curtis. Hair systems and showering is something that should be talked about more.. one question- Let's say you get a very small lift after a shower... is it ok to put a dap of new bond in the weak area or do you suggest completely redoing the hairline. (I know you're really not supposed to put bond anywhere that's not dry)
