Dude . Thank you for taking the time to upload this video, this is a great motivational video for me. You addressed a lot of concerns I had. Thumbs up!
@@mgfordhairreplacementstylist Even when you put the old unit on it still looked good. You still had a good amount of hair even though the top was thin. When you got the new hairpiece the same thing is going to happen. Every time you brush the hair, hairs fall out and they don't grow back. Eventually, you need a new unit again. Another problem is when you keep washing the unit the hair starts to fade and then you have to start coloring it. More of an expense. Lucky for you, you know how to cut hair and attach it again.
Please don't die before I start using one of those, lol. I can still buy some time with the amount of hair I have now, and tbh your system units are the best I've seen, hands down. They're so good that I wanna lose my hair even faster cuz I'm now living the fuzzy grey period where hair is still there but literally can't be styled no matter what. My stupid skull won't let me rock a bold head too, lol.
Sweet Baby Jesus‼️ You're new hair, in this video, looks utterly amazing! 👀 If you could do this for me, I would kiss the ground you walked on. Bravo, take a bow! Unbelievable. 👏 I just subscribed to learn more...
Looks good and very realistic ..i honestly don’t think the vast majority of people would know ..I guess until a cure come out (I won’t hold my breath)..then this is the most viable and convincing option ..what puts me off though is the maintenance and frequent visits to the hair dressers to get it blended in when back and sides outgrow the system!
thx Damian, hair systems are great and more and more people are doing their own maintenance nowadays...even cutting their own hair at the sides and back
you OBVIOUSLY loo gorgeous, MiKe! 🥰 and the hairstyle, too! 😊👍🏻 the hairline looks SO GOOD...! unreal! (so real!) much better than my plastic all over unit one 🤪
@@mgfordhairreplacementstylist hi I subscribed based on this video this piece looks amazing and so realistic I may try a hair system how much does a piece like this cost
Hi MG Ford thanks for sharing! How do you install the system BEFORE you need to start glueing at the front. I saw that you use tape but what physical installation technique do you use? I find it very difficult to position it and you only get one chance unless you take the tapes off one at a time whilst it is already stuck on (with a positioning tape in the middle for example). Could you share any advice please? :) Thanks
Undoubtly the best result I've ever seen after watching 100's of hair system videos on you tube. Question for Mike. I would like to buy a system from you with exact same style and density. I know some wearers only wear systems during the day using short term attavhments such as got2b and then remove at night. Some days I wouldn't wear at all if I'm just wearing a hat. What do you think about this method?
Please Ford, help me answer this important question: What is the percentage of this hair system? I know you said extra light, but what's the number exactly? 85%? Thank you so much for the helpful video, it looks fantastic on you!
3:01 - does the hairline really look like that because of just using tape or is it because the system has lost so much hair up front and the base is revealed?
What is the exact system that you are Rocking here? it’s actually the best hairline that I have seen so far and what is the markings on the manikin head?
the system is simply much better quality buddy than the cheaper made systems out there...its not just the contour and lace structure, but the hair quality, the hairline knotting/direction/processing...bleached knots graduation... it all makes the difference :)
thx Ian, for best results they look better if you can grow your side/back hair and have the top partial in place...full caps are not very realistic on the side/back nape of neck..unless you have a longer hair style..
Do you deliver to US? What kind of system is in this video? How did you get the hair to look like European hair when all the others are super straight and cannot be styled? What is the cost of this system in the video?
Hi Owen so its our all lace systems..the processing is better than a lot of the cheap over processed hair that's out there....generally the knotting, the overall manufacture is better so the hair moves more naturally. Our systems are from £415, mine in the video has blonde high lights added and so costs about £140 more on top of the £415...hope that helps buddy :)
@@mgfordhairreplacementstylist how long do those systems last? i had someone quote me for $450 a month and said i would need a new piece every 4-6 weeks
So this is how you keep your hairline from lifting, that’s a significant amount of lace at the front and looks great but The one big problem I foresee though is you can’t get tan. The lace line would stick way out if you got a tan. I can’t not be tan in the summer
@@mgfordhairreplacementstylist Not when you tan easily. It’s actually the best possible way to get vitamin D which the majority of people in the world are deficient and a good tan makes you look better. You also didn’t address the question really. You just completely avoid the sun? Does the lace block all sun rays or can you still get tan through it? Your hairline looks better and holds better than everyone that cuts right up to the hairline but any tan will completely give it away so I don’t see a way around this.
@@sammmuelspaul1946 skin cancer is horrendous and close to my heart... its no light subject. As great it is to be tanned..in my opinion its not worth the risk..the lace will stop tanning 100%, therefore reduce the chances of developing skin cancer, ..there are ways to get a facial tan on your face and wear a system...yes!, when you remove the system you will have a tan line ...but you would need to reattach the system in its original position on the tan line, for it not to look odd
Hey Mike do you not have an issue with the darts or folds, whatever they are called on a system? It drives me crazy… it makes the lace twice as thick in those areas and there is no reason for it. Basically no one needs the lace to be stitched into a bowl shape since we all cut them and they become flat afterwards. They work just fine flat so can we just stop with darts already?? Agree or disagree? Anyone?
so with stock systems they are cut down to size so i agree no need for the pleates.. but with custom made bases they are not cut down, they are contoured to match your head perfectly, so they have the pleates inorder to retain the contour/shape..just think 6 months of taking it on/off/on/off will make non pleated bases stretch and baggy and wont sit flush anymore...the pleates keep the perfect shape which is especially important for the flat/flush hairline look/fit
@@mgfordhairreplacementstylist Interesting… and makes sense with the customs. I wish companies would stop doing it with stock pieces though, I’ve seen and returned some absolutely awful examples
@@mgfordhairreplacementstylist I have never worn a system but one to start my journey soon... so I don't have a template. I am afraid of cutting it myself will ruin the hairline.
Don’t u use too high the forehead? What about combing a fringe forward or side swept fringe? I’d rid of the spaces in between. Usually mine are skin systems full of hair to style more like a David Beckham when young, etc. Can’t you cut the system base where there are too much Spaces to make a new hairline?
always had a high wrinkles forehead..if i wore lower then the lace would keep rippling and lifting..so its where nature intended...either style is possible..
@@mgfordhairreplacementstylist understood 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. When parts of the hairline become bald, I usually cut the base there, but I’m using a skin based system. It’s like remaking the hairline. This allows me to a avoid replacing the whole system when the hairline isn’t complete. I use a lot of hair, Wavy, to make it look like beach or surfer hair style, a bit of side swept, so when the wind comes nothing is seen. A bit stylish like Beckham in the late 90s.
Bro, I have good frontal hair line, sides and back hair but my top hair is almost gone and I need a patch specifically for my mid scalp and crown regions.. is it possible bro ?
my old one was worn night/day, everyday.....it really depends on the wearer..some get as little as 3 months, some get well over a year...im normally 8 months on my personal ones.. so a year was pushing it for me :)..check the 16 month old farakh system in another video....he does better than me :))
taking the advantage of already being online, may I ask all you gorgeous people on the channel: my walker tapes started messing up with me 😳 it gradually came down to a WEEK of bond before I need to change it! it’s insane (?) there was a period in my life (a month ago) where I changed the tapes and after 4 (four) days I had to do it again. (different country, different climate?) is WALKER starting making rubbish tapes now? does anybody use WALKER TAPES?
climate is key along with lifestyle...i personally have not noticed any issues with walker prods....what tape type are you currently using from walkers?
@@mgfordhairreplacementstylist non shine for the front (which is bullshit-shines just like a regular taps) & ULTRA HOLD. I’ve been using the ULTRA HOLD for about 2 years now, do you think my skin got “used to it”? 🤷🏻♂️ I changed nothing in my lifestyle. I exercise less & don’t dive (gym/pool have been closed for a while)... So... it is quite a mystery to me... 🤔 the 4days hold incident was in a different country, during the winter time 🤷🏻♂️
@@mgfordhairreplacementstylist only if you have a lace front unit ;) also - it was hard for me to get a lace front unit with BLEACHED KNOTS... they looked at me in a weird way and it was essentially a “problem”. I felt stupid for asking for an “undetectable hairline” 🤦🏻♂️ thank you, MiKe! 👍🏻😘
Hi, do you have a Instagram account or a email address that I can personally talk to you about your hair system. I really do want one but I’m so unsure what to go with
@@mgfordhairreplacementstylist I just caught on to this and I really like what I'm seeing. I know you've probably been asked this but do you ship to the US??
You are definitely not gentle with your unit if you didn’t yank it and pull it and over style it so much you’d probably get at least a couple more months out of it
I can’t understand how you can get iChat a great attachment with zero lace showing and zero lift when you pull on the hair. I can’t for the life of me make that happen
