EVERYONE uses wella because at Sally’s when you search toner, it’s the only thing that comes up. Please do a video on toner recommendations and where they come from so we can stop messing up our hair at home 😩
hi sorry to be annoying but i’m a small youtuber and would loveeeee if you checked my channel out ! it’s not hair related but i’m sure at least 1 person might enjoy it 😌💕
I was just checking all his outfits via all his videos' thumbnail and thinking about the same thing you mentioned when I click on this video and saw this comment 😊
I hadn't thought of that! And it seems like a small operation, I imagine they're actually his clothes? (As opposed to like a Vanna White type person, who is given all the dresses by a costuming department).
Lol but then her hair went purple somehow and that random man helped with the home fix dye job lmao i was just as confused as brad, thought we were onto a whole new person tbh 🤷♀️
I feel like the first girl was NEVER going to be happy with her hair colour even if the salon had achieved the shade she wanted. Girl was told to wait a few weeks because it was compromised and then proceeded to darken it before finally succumbing to the home bleach job. She was never going to keep the salon colour. The impatience shows.
@@katquiroga Agreed. Switching so dramatically from a salon to a home DIY treatment because she suddenly thought that she knew better than trained professionals leads me to believe that there is a salon or two in her area that will no longer take her. Especially after whatever that dark colour on her head was about. I wouldn't be surprised if she'd walked into the same salon that told her to wait a few weeks and told them she wanted the dark dye out of her hair. The impatience is what absolutely blows my mind here. Smh
Yeah she's the kind of girl that comes in with a photo of a Kardashian in a wig when she's naturally dark and says she wants platinum blonde in one sitting. No good salon would even attempt that.
I feel like if I go to a mirror and then chant “brad, brad, brad” he will appear and start saying “DON’T START AT THE ROOTS” Edit. OMG mOm I aM fAmOuS!
honestly the first girl looked so good after the initial salon visit with the ginger type tone... if only she just made the ends of her hair that color
I worked there for literally a week and quit because young girls and guys, and older women would come in there and ask me questions about hair products and hair tools and I barely brush my hair soooo that shows how knowledgeable some of the workers are at Sally’s 😂
The first girl didn’t know what tf sis wanted. She wanted to go lighter and then went and dyed her hair dark purple?! Girl, make up yo mind and grow some patience!
You can just tell that if she had shown patience and waited a few weeks for a second session that she would have changed her hair brown again in the resulting weeks. All that stress and for what? Just buy a damn wig.
Some people use bleach to color their hair pink or blue (to lift the natural pigment of their so the dye looks like it does on the box). Not everyone bleaches their hair to become blonde.
@@Cassandrareads you're right about that! She still looked good with the end result - she got lucky that her hair didn't end up as bad as some of the other fails Brad has shown us.
cassandra jones I get what your saying tho sometimes I think people go for more of “what they want” and not what actually suits them and pulls out there best features.
She seemed more upset when thinking her hair was going to be purple than when she started noticing the hair falling out. I got the bottom half of my hair purple and I'm in love with it. First time coloring my hair with anything & I'm hooked.
@@em84c if you have lighter roots and already colour in the rest of the hair, then yes, you start at the roots, otherwise they will stay lighter than the rest, it's usually even in the instructions 😊
@@ConniJo thankyou! I'm too scared to lighten my hair at home. And you're right I'm pretty sure my dye says to start at the roots. It's a dark brown colour.
This is exactly what I mean about kids ruining th future of this country. My grandmother keeps saying "we can't do anything anymore " literally after cancel culture and this comment is a joke of course but would I be surprised if it becomes illegal to be too cute or hot or scandalous or whatever ..I guess in a way prostitution is illegal..but kinda not what I'm talking about
Im amused about what happened to the first girl she was so preoccupied with “being blonde” she didn’t realize she looked a lot better as a “ginger” and now her hair is gone-oop
@@XSemperIdem5 girl... go to a professional get it done! be a ginger? live your extra life... these people fail cause they do it at home with about zero experience or knowledge
The first girl, I’m confused why she waited the full 4 weeks then did it at home anyway? Had she just gone back to her stylist all of that could have been avoided lol
because the first girl’s hair was already done. it was toned to its max, so you have to wait a certain amount of time depending on the color or hair type or both
itisjessie Yes I know. But in the video she said the hairdresser said she could go back in 4 weeks. She waited the 4 weeks to not touch her hair but did it at home anyway, that’s why I’m confused.
I was wondering the same thing. She literally just had to go back to the professionals after four weeks and get her hair bleached. Instead, she not only decided to bleach it herself at home, she refused to listen to her boyfriend when he told her to stop. Then she blamed him when her hair started to fall out.
Dylan Castellanos Also she dyed it dark purple at one point?? I don’t know why people think dark purple is going to fade into an icey blonde lol. Her hair was already bleached so light by the first professional, all she needed to do was wash out that toner and return in 4 weeks and she would have been the perfect platinum blonde. I wish clients who want to be platinum would just trust their stylist and commit to multiple sessions instead of pulling this crap lol
The first girl looked so good with the color she got at the salon, it really suited her... The hair also looked great and healthy. Whyyyy did she have to ruin everything?!
Ugh same. Straightening it is so annoying as I end up brushing off so much loose hairs all over my body and my sink, while a pile builds on my floor by my feet, etc. It sucks.
So I used that ion cream lightener for my hair and it works SO fast. I personally thought it felt healthier than when I’ve used other bleaches. It obviously did damage, but it was incredible how quickly it lightened really dark hair.
He isn’t lying about the darker color on top and lighter on the ends. I just did that to my hair to blend the roots and it worked beautifully. Used that comb down method he talked about in another video so it blended. 👍🏼
Dreadlock removal people: I thought long and hard about this, it’s a really emotionally tough decision but I’m going to remove my dreads. Home bleach people: I just decided five minutes ago that I want to bleach my jet black hair to platinum from home because I don’t want to wait for an appointment.
I feel like the second girl knows who Mr.Mondo is but doesn’t watch his videos because not to be rude but she doesn’t follow some of the rules that he states a lot.
Bleach fail shot game: Take a shot anytime someone uses T-18, their hair falls out, they mention they ruined their hair, or if they make their stylist fix it lol Result: 💀
I‘m so glad I was a „model“ for my friend in hairdresser school in a salon and always got a good outcome and helped her to learn and grow. Sometimes it looked bad, sometimes it was so beautiful but I’m so happy I never had to pay for it, I never lost my hair and there was always a hairdresser with more experience always watching over us 😆 still the only person I trust with my hair. Even with all the fails
0:10 "I wanna eat her all the time! If she ever goes missing, its because I ate her, so don't worry." I've literally never seen her in any other video and I've been binge watching these. So, yes, im very worried.
half of them are like me we don't give a crap if we ruin our hair we chop it off and let it regrow, the other half are impatient and don't want to wait for a stylist and then have to wait anyways so they can fix the train wreck of a dye job(or bleach job) or they think they can do it better/ cheaper and have to get it fixed lol
I have black hair and I’ve always thought that blonde hair, especially a really light blonde, was so pretty. If I tried to bleach my hair, it’d either get stuck at the orange stage or completely fall out from the amount of lifting I’d have to do.
@@heystobit7102 I have black hair naturally and depending on the strength and health of your hair, you should be able to do it if you really want it. It’s all about being able to afford it and finding someone who really knows what they’re doing. Don’t think you could never go blonde! Do make sure you know what’ll look good with your skintone though :)
I’m a natural red head but my hair is also naturally ombré from the sun with dark auburn roots and lighter highlights. I’m blonde now and I love being blonde but I still appreciate my natural hair because my hair dresser always said it looked like an auburn rainbow. 🤍
I recently watched some of these videos on my mom's TV when I was staying with her. The other day she was telling me she started watching this "hairdresser on youtube who is just so positive and funny" and I immediately knew who it was. RU-vid started recommending these videos to her after I watched them and she LOVES them now. It's so cute. I hope Brad knows he has such a wide demographic of audience, including 55 year old grandmothers in the rural south. 😂
People don’t want to pay to go to a professional salon bc they are expensive, but doesn’t the high expense signify how difficult it is to properly bleach hair? It is beyond me how many people bleach their own hair with no experience when it can take months to fix. Great for content though. Keep at it lol
No nessesary the hair salon will give you a great result. For gair bleaching need to be a lot if product , no any foil and after - ammonia free oil color. This is works perfect. A the salon my hair was daged many times by Wella ( German brands are very strong) or silver shampoo (I hate it , it makes my curly hair very bad). At the salon very often you have a nice color , but once you wash it it can be gone. After online coloristic class I perfectly know what is the best for my hair and which brands , and no one stylist made me so nice blond before . My hair is light slavic and it is HARD to get bright no damage blond ( only low decelopers !) and long 2-3 days process, when at salon it is always damage and always fast process( no one will bleach you 2-3 times with low volume). The best for me is INOA, nothing is better.
I mean, there have been cases (even happened to my mom when I was like 13) where people have gone to get their hair professionally done at a well known salon and ended up getting their hair fried - my mom got her hair fried and ended up having to get 4in cut off, I forgot who it was but this girl basically had her hair melt off her head. Granted this isnt everyone's experience but just because something is more expensive doesn't mean its necessarily better. As long as you know what you're doing tbh theres no problem with it. Basically my point is you can have horrible results either way lol Editing to add I've been bleaching and dyeing my hair at home for a few years now, one of my friends is a hair stylist so I go to them for advice if I have questions. So far I've yet to fry/melt all of my hair off. My natural hair color is a level 3/4, its dense but fine, and kinky coily. I've tried getting my hair professionally lightened but every place has refused to lol I ended up having to dye my hair grey at home (overall the process took me 8 months - a year to acheive). I'm 21 now and started doing that when I was 17-18, I'm just now reaching the point where I'm close to being able to tone it to all a silvery white (I just need to lighten my roots 3 more levels and I'll be there), with minimal damage and hair loss.
If you spend some time looking at advice and tips from other people and have some practice applying color to your hair, then it's really not that difficult. Just start with the easier stuff and work your way up.
People don't go because they book for 3 months out and your hair never looks how you want anyways. You see her 1st visit to the salon she left with ginger hair and asked for blonde.
Man this is why I got the weirdest relationship with my stylist, she knows I’m really good at coloring my own hair so all I go to her for is minor tweaks like highlights (which I can’t do so I don’t try) and trims and she never expects me to have the same color twice 😂
As someone who bleached my hair twice during lockdown, and colored twice, before going to my professional colorist once she opened I have such sympathy with these girls! And yes, my colorist nearly had a heart attach when I showed her the photo's. She is scarred.
It never ceases to amaze me when a client repeatedly comes in begging for someone to do a color correction. Like, you’ve done this to yourself time and time again. Why have you not learned that you’ll end up spending 2-3x more trying to fix your attempt to save money. I mean, don’t get me wrong, that’s more money in my pocket, but it is hella frustrating that they won’t ever listen and learn. Say no to diy bleaching people!
I'm bleaching my head for about ten years now. Coloring it blue or maybe sometimes pink. the first two times I guess i did a pretty shitty Job. But I lived with that. People made fun of it, but I lived through that. It was kinda funny! I once bleached my hair in a salon. Never again, because my hair was soo dry&dead after this. And with that money I could pay two years of Bleach and colour. I have to say I have pretty short hair. And I don't think hair is such an important thing. I could easily shave everything off. What I did sometimes (undercut) i just want to say let people make own choices. But they should know that they have to live with it
To be perfectly honesty I've only been that client once but I'll be it again probably and I don't care 🤣 if I'm gonna spend $400 on my long hair changing colour I might as well start with $50 at home and see if I can pull it off... if I can, yay I saved $350, if I can't, a stylist gets a big tip that day. Everybody wins LOL.
Tbh I've NEVER found a good hairstyler, at least one that works well for me and I always always left the salon crying. I havent had any problems since I started cutting, bleaching and dying my hair myself, tho I also did a lot of reasearch and I have professional products at hand, which helps a lot! I prefer living with my own screw up than letting someone else touch my hair.
Saso Akasuna more power to you if you can do it yourself. It’s the ones that screw it up, come to have it fixed, then do the exact same thing over and over again that kill me. Had a lady years ago that came in at least once every 2 months to have someone fix her bleach fails to the point where none of the stylists at our salon would even touch her hair. She repeatedly melted her hair and it would literally turn to mush when you washed it. It was a never ending cycle and no matter how many times I told her, ‘You can’t keep 40vol bleach on your head for hours at a time. Stop it. You are going to melt your hair and scalp.’ She would just continue to do it then cry when we couldn’t fix the problem. Probably the most frustrating client I ever had!
You don't take your hair or damage that seriously if you do all these things. Like you said, you would sob so you wouldn't even starr doing the things they do 😂
Aleksandra Lempart maybe for u “it’s just hair, and will grow back eventually” but for some it’s literally a part of their life. Hair takes a really long time to grow so it’s normal that some ppl get attached to it
Im here having bleached the underneath part of my Asian hair countless times with 30vol and twice with 40vol to get platinum and feeling very blessed that I had no increased hair fall at all out lmao
