i used to get a mix between weird, creepy "i like your hair!" comments and snarky, sarcastic "i like your hair..." comments. no shit. last time i did an all over pink/purple i had teens or something start trying to talk to me. it made me feel so awkward. next time i did an all over peach/pink i legit felt embarrassed having it. tried to tone my own blonde by mixing some purple manic panic with conditioner, too much dye made it purple - if i were 15 i would've loved it, but i just felt like a jackass. maybe it's age, i dunno... but i feel so shit when i do those colors now.

That is total bullshit. I have had purple hair for almost a decade. The only people who say anything negative to me about it are either jealous they can't do it because of where they work or their insecurities are so extreme that they spill over on to others. No. Enjoy your hair and get rid of the people who knowingly knock something that makes you happy.
