Kimura is underrated. He worked hard and was fluid in his movements. His textbook boxing was nice to watch. A good character, he deserved the Japanese title.
Kimura was allways a superb balanced act. The Mashiba fight was crucial for his caracter development. He allways knew he loved boxing, but now he knows he's worthy of the belt, he was only a inch away from having it. He will have it one day!
Si cuandl supimos su historia nos agrado el personaje ya no era un simple personaje comico y en esta ,esta gran pelea se convirtio en mi personaje favorito.
Kimura has been lacking a goal forever now. But if Ippo is his second, we might finally see the story shift to him. Kimura finding a goal and accomplishing it could help Ippo with that mindset
Sadly, if Mashiba wouldn't have tried for most of the match to fight only with his left, Kimura wouldn't have been even so close to winning, so Kimura's strength really wasn't that great.
Honestly I wished the manga built up Kimura even more. Unlike Aoki, he was very fundamental, and that Mashiba fight showed that he was able to fight to his competition if he was committed.
@@mercer13b not really, in order to use it he needs to be close. The reason he didn't use it faster was cause he didn't manage to get past Mashiba's jabs which kept him far.
