Wow looking at another video of yours and it makes me emotional. I truly left my heart in Alaska. I felt such peace while I was there. From your tour guide...number one preferred choice of food from garbage for bears is dirty diapers? Oh my god!! Ketchikan was also our last port. The Alaska Fish house had a Coho Salmon Teriyaki bowl that was outstanding! My girlfriend doesn't like fish and she loved it. How was the burger? That Tamarind place is right up my alley! Another well made video there Phil.
Sounds like you really loved it there 😊 and you did some great tours. 👍🏻 The burger was good. No surprises. Different than “Guy’s” but still good. Tamarind… was a nice treat. Loved the atmosphere and the food was unique and tasty. 👍🏻👍🏻 Thanks again 😁
Thank you for the videos. To correct one thing, “most” of the stores in Ketchikan are NOT owned by the cruise lines. If you look in the Port Shopping Guide that was left in your room (or the port talk), those stores pay a pretty significant kick-back to the cruise line. The rest of the stores are independent and usually have a sign in the window indicating as much.
We are/have really enjoyed this series. On our upcoming HAL cruise, we have the Tamarind restaurant in our Have It All package. Because it's in our package, is the menu scaled down or is it the same as if you paid for it separately?
As far as I know It’s the same menu. We liked all the specialty restaurants on the Koningsdam. 😊 I’m so glad you have enjoyed the video’s. Thank you. Room tours to come and maybe a ship tour? Check back in. 👍🏻 Cheers
about how long did you walk around? we should have about two and a half hours from when we finish our Kayaking tour till when the all aboard is and I am trying to figure out if that give us enough time to walk to see creek street or not. I would want to be walking back to the ship an hour before all aboard so we don't have to stress.
I think we only walked for about an one and half hours. Takes 15 minutes max to walk to creek street. Hope this helps. 👍🏻 ( don’t be a pier runner ) LOL
@PhilCatsea awesome then we can walk for an hour and half before walking back and be able to see creek street! I hate being late so I am starting to have anxiety with being able to see any of the towns after our tours.
