Hal Poindexter & Herb Rice - Early 1950s 

Herb Rice, - father of Tony, Larry, Ron and Wyatt Rice - met his brother in law, Hal Poindexter in 1946. Here is a recording from the early fifties - In 1954 Herb moved his family to Los Angeles and in 1960, Hal and wife Dorothy followed suite and relocated to the Golden State as well. Early in 1961, Her and , Hal together with his brothers John and Walter Ray formed the Golden State Boys.
This recording was made before the move to California. Originally recorded on a ‘1950s monophonic Bell & Howell reel to reel tape recorder.
