Love seeing this and the old knowledge. We might be coming to a point where we begin to 'retro-innovate' ourselves back to times like these. Lord knows it would be far, far more sustainable than what we're doing today.
I'm glad the gentleman asked about the candle holders, that was lovely to see...loved seeing the whole process and the strip showing the candle in the midst of dipping...how long it took to make. Thanks so much for sharing with us.
"Yankee ingenuity" lol - I'm from NE Ohio (in TX now), been called a "Yankee" a few times! The "Ingenuity" of Northerners came from the necessity to get things done (incl. during harsh winters) despite the limited resources of Colonial America. Proud Yankee here! Cool video, I'm making beeswax candles right now.
@@TomHallOnline yes. sometimes i feel that i am missing those years. I don’t know, maybe reincarnation is real and I lived there before. for example I just watch movies or documents that related to those years...I really curious about my past life.🤷🏻♀️
They often did not do other colors bec. well..................they were used for light. white and ivory colored candles let out more light, and beeswax puts out more light .
