This is my first time hearing you. The only other female I have heard sing this song is Bonnie Raitt. She did an excellent cover with Lowell George in 1972. If you haven't heard it definitely worth a listen. Anyways, great job! Excellent vocals and good choice in cover songs.

Just discovered Haley. She does something amazing - often: she will start a line of a song in a key that sounds like it's not right because you think she can't possibly get to where she needs to go with it. But she does. Incredible range and instincts. I hope that made sense.

Search YT for "Haley Reinhart performs with her dad at Chess Records in Chicago" to see a studio-quality recording of him accompanying her on an acoustic guitar. She gives a short intro about watching him and her mother as a child (they had a band, still do).

One of my favorite songs from Blind Faith. I still keep this album on my iPod, and listen to it every so often. Hailey really does justice to the song, making it sound as fresh as it did way back when. An excellent version while staying true to the feel of the original. Hailey is simply awesome!

That's what I don't get w/ some fans of older groups like Jefferson Airplane and others when Haley covers their songs. "Only Grace can sing this!"....well, turns out, many of these bands are like you, grateful that someone w/ chops as good as Haley, is bringing awareness of these great songs to a whole new generation that don't know what real music w/ real non auto tuned artists, singing w/ real instruments, sounds like. The Zombies, the Turtles have thanked Haley for just that, two years before the Zombies entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Even Jefferson Airplane's offiicial Instagram posted a clip from her performance of White Rabbit. I'm in it for the music, talent and energy that Haley brings, you will not find a more genuine musician who is well versed in the music of several genres that came before her. She's remarkable, it's disappointing how many people just don't get it. She's a one of a kind in so many ways

Yes, great to hear a live singer who needs no autotune crutch. But understand even great singers sometimes "touch up" their vocals with engineered tuning in the studio. It's hard to sing every single note perfectly, or have it always match the music just right. So long as they don't have a machine automatically adjusting their voice all the time, it's fine.

Why do you live in a world where there's some sort of epidemic of auto-tune usage? Is that just in your head, because it's not as prevalent as your outrage would like to think. @@brianmckillop2042 It's not even a proper popularity contest when people can sit on their phones for a couple of hours firing off hundreds of votes. You can guess who would be doing just that. Young teenage girls voting with their hormones for the most attractive looking boys! That's why the boys won it for so many years and extremely talented females were put out before them. Haley was lucky that James Durbin wasn't very good looking otherwise she wouldna even have made 3rd place. Lauren made 2nd because she was linked supposedly romantically with Scotty.

Since her debut, her natural talent has been evident. Her performance of this song with her dad on guitar is also great. She's equal to a modern day Stevie Nicks. Record companies and radio just don't know how to play her. She's a great singer. There's a reason for the more than a million views.
