@eating sugar no papa yeah perhaps, but that doesn't change that it's very common for people to have children that age. I don't see why everyone thinks she's still a little kid, this is about average for people to have their first children.
Yeah. One of the things Ty Burrell said in an interview that he likes about playing this character is it gave him a chance to NOT play a jerk or a villain.
I think she went from having the "mom" reaction to having the "I know exactly what it's like to be in that position and I know exactly what I wish I had gotten back then" moment. It's kinda emotional in how it comes full circle 😭
I loved how the whole family waited to react, untill Claire and Phil reacted. That's precious, it's their scary but also beautiful moment to handle such an announcement from their daughter.
Phil is the best kind of human being. He's a supportive husband and an understanding father and overall he's a great and kind person. He's my favourite character in the show.
Everyone is delighted with how phil reacted, but no one is even mentioning that these "younger than 12 year olds" exited the room obediently without skipping a beat?
I'm going to guess that at one point someone else said that before sharing something very sensitive, but they didn't leave and then regretted it because they either got in trouble or were grossed out by whatever they heard.
the acting is so spot on. Phill's reaction on the news, the reaction of Hayley waiting for her mother response, and noticing that how Claire cut off her opinion in a heartbeat and rush to hug her is portrayed so accurately is heart-wrenching.
Ramen Noodles I think Dylan has grew up A LOT. I mean, he’s in nursing school, he can’t be stupid. I would prefer Andy, but Dylan is my second choice. I didn’t like the professor or the old guy.
Wow, so its clear that we all are disappointed that Haley ended up with Dylan. However lets not forget Phil was a wedding DJ when him and Claire met only later did Phil become this man we know now. Dylan already has a head start by being a nurse. He may just be Haley's Phil.
When Phil said "why wouldn't you be?" to Haley, it really feels like Clair hears him and internally asks this of herself and realizes she should be happy for her daughter
Why does Claire take all the hate? She is mother who fully understand all the stress her little girl will have. She worry about Haley and protect her from harm, both physical and mental. We all need a member like that in our family to keep us not do stupid things. If everyone in family like Phil, what will them be?
I love Dylan pluss is funny how mutch Clair dos not like him just like Jai dos not like Phill, Dylan is sweet has grown up to he is gorgeus and can sing cachy songs he is going to make her happy
Unikorn_ TheKidd that’s not the point. dylan is just a plot convenience for laughs. he isn’t practical and everything is unrealistic and the show suffers
All those seasons of Haley making mistakes so she could eventually learn from them and grow up, for her to end up PREGNANT WITH DYLAN? This is actually a disrespect to Sarah Hyland's character, she actually was doing an amazing job for her character to end up almost at the beginning.
@@thandoreviews8886 True, but if she *really* had ended up like her mother she would have stayed with Andy and maybe gotten pregnant with *his* kid. (Because Andy is so much like Phil)
I like the action between Claire and Hailey at 1:20 Quite clearly Claire is not happy whith it and not ready for it, but she recognises that her daughter is frightened and just needs her mom to be happy about it right now.
phil and claire poor souls. i'd be worried too if my daughter was pregnant by an idiot and still living in my house without a job. 25 or not. the stress is real.
I still live in my moms house with no job at 20. I mean I’m getting a kidney transplant soon, I’m in college , and just quit. But yeah, my mom should kick me out
Eugeniya Leshenko In every single comment you’re telling people to shut up, stop projecting your personal experiences onto people. Have your children while you’re still living at home, we don’t care. This is a show and it’s disappointing. 🙄
Kayla H I don’t understand why writers do this kind of stuff where they destroy whole seasons of character development only so the first couple on the show can return when they already had something so much better. Ej Barney and Robin, Hayley and Andy
I think they had Andy so they could see what Haley would have been like if she devolved and they got rid of Andy and brought Dylan back in I don’t care I think they are not good for her
I love Phil and Mitch “why wouldn’t u be” - Phil “I can’t believe a little Dylan is gonna pop out of you”- Mitch there both so supportive and Claire is so freaked out I love this episode🤣🤣
I love that its always been hinted at that Haley would be an unexpected mother and yet its STILL a horrible storyline for her character. She 100% should have been the redeemed one of the three kids. I can more so see Luke getting this.
@btamamura age appropriate, situationally appropriate no? And also we didn't have to wait 10 years for something that could have been the plot of season 1. Dylan.... Really....
Pshhh please it's perfect. It's what you expect out of life. Get over it, that's what happens in real life🤣makes so much sense she gets pregnant by Dylan. He is entirely devoted to her
I realize the writers wanted her to end up with Andy, and as the comments here suggest, yes it would have been a nice "full circle" storyline since they resemble her parents but life honestly doesn't always end up in a perfect full circle moment. I think this video was super cute and I think that if they are putting her back with Dylan after letting her grow as a person, then maybe they want to show he has grown as a person too! So I actually like the storyline for now and I feel like people should give it a chance :)
I preferred Andy and liked Dylan but I’m sad that Dylan ended up with her because I thought it was a much more mature storyline for Dylan to have ended up with that doctor he said he was married to because it forced Hayley to move on what her “romantic security blanket” and leave her past behind and grow up
She seems like such a sweet person, been through so much with her health problems her entire life, and hopefully that's all behind her and she lives to be 120.
It just means that people are invested in the characters and story, The writers know that the audience reaction matters. They feel the same way about their favorite shows too.
The thing that gets me the most is Claire. She’s so clearly shocked and maybe even angry that Haley has gotten pregnant so young, but when she hears the fear in her daughter’s tone and sees the small tears in her eyes, she remembers she’s been there before and her motherly love and instincts kick in as she swallows her complaints at 1:30 and chooses to accept and support Haley.
I think this was the best possible relationship for Haley. Dylan and Haley will always be that forever couple. Dylan over the years really grew up and got his act together, he really reminds me of Phil. I know a lot of people are sad that Andy and Haley didn't end up together but I think that Andy was needed for Haley's character development and Dylan was the one that came back. I know that some people are sad that Hayley's character ended up getting pregnant instead of going onto another path but I think this was actually good for her. I think her venturing into motherhood was a good thing for her and also helped her grow up more and helped her mature. I'll really proud of Hayley and seeing her grow over the years and I think she'll be a great mom and an awesome business woman and NERP!!!
Dear All team production and actors, I’m the huge fan from Thailand , I love this series so much and I had watched this from Netflix everyday . It make me happy and happier every time I hope Netflix will release this season ASAP. Love you all Potchara N.
I like how you can see Claire having a mini flashback to when she told her parents she was pregnant and deciding not to react the way they did but then also finally understanding why her parents reacted the way that they did.
Claire realized Haley is exactly her and now knows how’s to run the situation. Haley has the support of her parents and Phil is happy because Haley is a reflection of what happened with Claire and knows everything will turn out in the end ❤️
After seeing the Birthdays episode(S-10, last ep) you realize that Mitchell and Cam did know about Haley's pregnancy from their reactions @ 1:08 Atleast Cam did🙌🏻
I like this because Phil will do to Dylan what Jay did to him. And jay might see just how it hurt his relationship with Claire. I hope it brings Phil and Jays relationship to resolution. Also watching Phil’s dark side come out will be interesting.
Lol that kind of happened in season 11. Jay invites Phil and Dylan to fly that plane. Phil is annoyed with Dylan. And while Dylan holds the hoop and Phil flies the plane, jay sort of admits to Phil that he might have intentionally hit the plane on Phil at that time on season 1. A shocked Phil then accidentally aims the plane to himself and gets injured again.
