Finally seeing this video. I don't think I would have thought of all of them off the top of my head, but if I had seen them without any English, then I would have understood them. I wish restaurants here did 반반. I love that idea. I'm wondering, for half month and half year, can you add 처음 / 마지막 to say first half of the month/year and last half of the month/year?
반반 치킨 is very popular in Korea.🍗 We don't use 처음/마지막 to say them. But we use Hanja words like 상/하 for the year and 초/중/말 for the month. ➡️first half of the year 상반기(上半期) =상 top/superior + 반 half + 기 period of time ➡️last half of the year 하반기(下半期) =하down/inferior + 반half + 기period of time ➡️first half of the month =from the beginning of the month to the middle of the month 월초(月初)에서 중순(中旬)까지 or = 1st & 2nd week 첫째 주와 둘째 주 ➡️last half of the month = from the middle of the month to the end of the month 중순(中旬)에서 월말(月末)까지 or =3rd & 4th week 셋째 주와 넷째 주
