This relentless track accumulates during the final wave of antlion attacks in Half-Life 2: Episode Two. The driving beat and distorted tones make this an excellent soundtrack to accompany the wreaking of havoc.
This moment was so epic. Seeing all the tunnels with 3 lights gave a combined feeling of oh shit and bring it on. And I thought the sirens at the beginning really fit with the song
Black mesa will change your mind, there's a section where Gordon is trapped with HECU soldiers coming in from the roof as he tries to exit the facility, that music is bad ass as fuck
*Playing Episode 2 gets to the part where the vortigaunts come* Took you guys long enough! *The antlions get ready to attack again and this music plays. We have vortigaunts to help us though. This music plays and they come* OH HELL YEAH!
Wow, Valve truly fucked up. They should have made Half-life 3/ Half-life 2 Ep 3 when there was so much hype about it. Now the hype has slowly been killed. And if they decide to make it. I don't think that many people will actually buy it. Considering that most people that played the game are too busy with work and everybody likes Fortnite/Apex now. It's a shame. I guess it's too late to make it.
That is just about the most bizarre thing I've ever heard anyone say. The fact that other games are popular means that those who wanted Half-Life 3 wouldn't play it when it comes out?
Over the time I've been in the industry, I've learned that phantom hype is the worst thing your game can have. People get wild ideas that end up exceeding the original expectations of the developers, ending in disappointing results for both.
You never know, some dedicated fans bring back nostalgia games for the fans that wanted more, half life 1 had a remake, halo had a remake, doom is back, dead space is back and God knows how many more awesome childhood games will return
