It's been over 2 years since the last demo came out, and a lot has changed since then. Now with a new code base, and completely re-made maps, let's look at some new gameplay that will be featured in the next demo!

Love how you've actually changed the level itself to fit Spyro instead of just doing a character swap. Also lol at the Resonance Cascade bringing in friendly dragons to save the world.

I love this so much. Sincerely, the aesthetic redesign of the levels is a mod's worth of work alone, even moreso enhanced by everything coming together to Spyroify the gameplay. Very excited to try this next demo out!

I'm consistently amazed by how spot on this mod gets the physics and controls of PS1 Spyro, as well as adapting the level to fit them. Also, did you re-voice the scientists entirely, or is the spyro line sentence mixed? The lines sound a bit different

That line was voiced by CornetTheory. He is known for being the voice for the Black Mesa Source scientists.

It's from the 0.52 Alpha for Half-Life. I'm pretty sure the cd audio rip is on the Valve archive. I'm also certain it's been uploaded here to RU-vid as well.

Looks like you are going to make a whole new Spyro game. You've changed locations and a lot of game mechanics, so it is not Half Life: Year of the Dragon, it is Spyro: Half life of the Dragon.

only complaint is some of the Spyro sounds are much higher quality than the Half-Life ones, so it feels inconsistent, if they aren't already the PS1 sound effects, I suggest making them those.

The newest release isn't out yet. The mod also uses Xash3d so you don't need to take the mod and install it anywhere. The instructions are on the download page itself.

Sería totalmente genial, que hicieran equipo los desarrolladores de (half-life loop & year of the dragon), ayudándose mutuamente, con mejoras individuales a la jugabilidd y rendimiento del juego así, como detalles y extras, (creando en su paso, mapas mejor elaborados, y mejores NPCs más difíciles) todo con un feeling clásico sin efectos o modificaciones gráficas extremas que le quiten la gracia al juego, seria un sueño hecho realidad.

They are modified quite a bit by myself, and are to make everything around the same fidelity. I may make a LD pack post release, but it just depends on the demand.
