That Damn Fox is a Quake engine based third person platformer with some high-octane gunplay action! Join Cam the Fox on her adventure to save her city from the evil Dr. Henney Penny and his plan to 'Taxerminate' the world with his reanimated-cybernetic animal army!

This project is looking great! It's awesome to see everything you've achieved with it. Also Gordon in the reflections is going to haunt my nightmares.

Ok, thd rolling and jumping sfx definitely inspired from jack and daxter. I thought some of the weapon effects and sounds had a similar feel to em. This is look very nifty.

Flippin awesome dude, reminds me of Intrusion and i mean that in the best way possible. It looks like it's gonna be fun as heck and the music selection for the vid is pretty awesome too.

This is looking so good! Every progress update the game is looking better and better. Is this still based on goldsrc?

At the time of this video the game was on Half-Life's sdk (goldsrc) and ran on Xash3D (Quake engine branch thats made to be Goldsrc compatible). It will not be using Quake for the game code and possibly still Xash for the engine but I'm not too sure yet.

cool! have you considered adding a way to strafe while using lock-on similarly to how its done in the ps2 R&C games? anyway keep up the good work!

I might, but I do want the game to play more like Jak & Daxter and the first Ratchet & Clank game which does not feature any lock on strafing. Jak uses a form of auto aiming which is decent at best and one of my goals is to improve upon that.

What is the font used by the debug GUI in the bottom right and the console?

It's called qfont. It can be found in the hl2 leak but it should be floating around in a few Quake related games and Half-Life's alpha build.

Are you even allowed to sell this ? Like can you just get a liscense for goldsrc?

You cannot get a license for goldsrc anymore and you could not sell this because of it using the Half-Life sdk code for the game. That's why I'm going to continue this on Quake.
