Lovely to see another sewing video from you, hope your recovery continues smoothly! As for HST I find nesting seams and a couple of clips near the point do the trick well enough for me. I try not to worry too much about "perfect points" unless I'm doing some FPP. I'm still new to FPP so my stuff isn't really perfect, but it's much more noticeable when you're piecing sections together if you're off so I try to be extra careful.Mixed results keep things interesting 😂 I look forward to seeing the Alice quilt come along, I think the pink would make a nice border or accent on the front ❤

Recovery is recovered 😊😊. The last few days was just about making sure I didn't do it again since it was such a silly way to get injured in the first place. I'm just happy that I managed proper points, but I don't think I'll agonize too much about the perfect part. It's just nice to know I finally found a way to do it that's repeatable for me. Now I just need to know what FPP is..😂🤣

@@peggysews whoops! It's foundation paper piecing and I love/hate it. Good to know you're well and practicing self care 😊 I once threw out my shoulder while cutting fabric with my rotary cutter on a poor work surface. In trying to explain to my husband what I did I was talking him through recreating it but he was doing it wrong... Really he was just trying not to injure himself the way I did 🤦‍♀️

@@Gail.Otterly.Stitchable OOOh Yeah I keep seeing paper piecing and I would Lose. My. Mind. It's beautiful though. I never manage to mess myself up in a cool way. It's always something silly.
